What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Oak Hills are mixed, with strong praise for the golf course and a very negative experience reported regarding the pool facility and its management. Multiple golfers describe the course as beautiful, in great shape, with well-groomed fairways and smooth, challenging greens. Many highlight its great value, friendly staff, and state they would return or highly recommend it. However, one detailed review recounts a highly uncomfortable and unprofessional encounter at the pool facility. A family, initially enjoying the pool's setup for a birthday party, attempted to return for a day pass as non-members. They were allowed in by a man at the gate for cash, but then experienced his constant hovering, micromanagement, and aggressive, unsettling pressure to buy a membership, including an 'off the books' offer. When they declined, the man became visibly annoyed and rudely told them they were not welcome back, leaving the family feeling shocked, embarrassed, and very disappointed despite the facility's potential.

Great course…course was in great shape. Greens were nice! Nice little range to hit a few balls to get ready to play! Enjoyed it…will return, soon!
Our family recently attended a birthday party at Oak Hills and really enjoyed the pool setup. The separate areas for babies and intermediate swimmers were perfect for our kids, and overall the facility seemed well-suited for families. After checking out the website, we thought that day passes were available for non-members, so we decided to return on a Saturday. When we arrived, my spouse went in to pay and was informed that Oak Hills is actually members-only. However, the man at the gate took the cash and allowed us in, which initially seemed kind. Unfortunately, once inside, we felt extremely uncomfortable. The same man hovered over us the entire time and appeared to be micromanaging the staff to an excessive degree. His energy was very unsettling and made it hard to relax. We ended up deciding to leave early. While my spouse and older son packed the car, I took our younger child to the restroom. During that time, the man approached my spouse and pushed for us to buy a membership. Even after my spouse explained we’d need to think about it, he continued to push, even saying, “We ain’t got to tell nobody. I’ll give you a family membership for a singles price!” When my spouse declined again, he became visibly annoyed. When I exited the restroom, he hollered at me (we were a good 20+ feet from each other) and abruptly said, “This was a one-time thing, and you’re not welcome back.” He also said something like he had already told my spouse as well. He was sort of mumbling and had somewhat of a gravely voice. I was shocked, embarrassed, and honestly a little frightened. He caught me way off guard. I was not expecting that at all. His behavior was unprofessional and completely uncalled for. It’s unfortunate, because the facility has a lot of potential, but the way we were treated left us very disappointed and uncomfortable. This is not how you welcome families or run a business.
Beautiful course. Greens are smooth and challenging. Fairways are wide, but there are plenty of opportunities to lose a golf ball. Best course for the money I've played.
Played here yesterday for first time. An open course with beautifully groomed fairways and greens. Great value and would highly recommend this course.
Staff was friendly and the course is beautiful with awesome greens. They are tricky make sure to leave yourself below the hole. Which was hard for the first time on the course.
