Fabulous spot to beat the heat at!! Slide, diving board and just enough height of water for the babies!! Life guards are at every post to keep you safe!! Perfect place for the summertime heat!! Bring the kids and family and cool off!😎

Great pool for a small town. Pros are that it has a fun big water slide (but there's not an obscene amount of stairs), a baby water slide and umbrella that drips water in the shallow end, and 1 diving board. This is definitely a great place to go if you have really little kids (aged 5 and under). Cons are that there is not much of a deep end at all except a small area where the diving board is and there really isn't much of a selection at the concession stand at all. It costs $3 per person to get in and they have mandatory 15 min breaks every hour. One of the absolute best things about this pool though is that every 4th of July they have are open for a couple of hours and they have fun games and contests where you can win prizes, and most of the activities are fun whether you're a toddler or a senior citizen!

a great swimming pool for the family to attend! Great group of kids playing together and including one another! the lifeguards are all friendly with the children as well as the adults running the pool

I can't believe how friendly the staff was at the Halsted swimming pool. We weren't aware that they don't accept credit cards, but rather than turning us away they let us in for free!!! (FYI, the pool was closing in 45 from when we arrived). The small-town friendly service made it a truly memorable experience.
