Community pools typically maintain comfortable temperatures suitable for swimming, generally ranging between 78-82°F (25-28°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park generally offers appealing water features for children, which are a major draw, although their operating schedule is inconsistent. Bathrooms receive mixed reviews, with some being clean while others need upkeep and are occasionally occupied by homeless individuals. A significant and recurring concern across multiple reviews is the pervasive presence of homeless people, who often occupy key park areas like BBQ spots, shade ramadas, restrooms, and picnic tables. This issue contributes to cleanliness problems, including dirty tables and the alarming discovery of hypodermic needles. While there's a recent mention of probation officers and a surveillance camera, and a slight decrease in homeless numbers, their presence remains a major detractor, making many visitors feel unsafe and diminishing what could otherwise be a great park experience.
Reviews
The park has lots of homeless people who carry around their entire homes with them. The park has 3 bathrooms, women's, men's and handicapped. I used the handicapped, out was clean and had plenty of toilet paper. The park has water features for the kids or anyone to use. The day I went it was off. I honestly don't know when they turn on the water features. I've visited the park when the water features were on. I was doing yard work once and an entire class went by to go to the park and the water features were on. I think if you are a school class or non profit you can have the water features turned on. It is a great little park to unwind or even BBQ if the homeless people haven't taken over the BBQ area. July 14, 2025 Something I've never seen before, probation officers frequent the park regularly and hang out. I've never ever seen that before. The amount of homeless people has diminished somewhat, though, they are still here. There is a solar powered police surveillance camera in the park now.
We went for a birthday party, it was nice having the water toys for the kiddos but they need to keep up on the bathrooms.
Homeless people scattered around what would otherwise be a nice park for kids. Camped in all the shade ramadas, restrooms and picnic tables. Hypodermic Needles in the grass and on picnic tables. Complete fail Turlock
It was a good park if you can put up with the homeless people begging for your food. The kids love the water aspect of the park but you have to watch every minute because of the homeless people. The bathroom was very clean.
