We moved into Linkside Villa (Calistoga model) in September of 2022. We started our process in August of 2021 with the Linkside Team. Antoinette (the sales agent), Bob and Blake (the builders) were wonderful to work with. They assisted us to pick out our finishes, flooring, colors, and upgrades explaining costs and showing samples. Not many upgrades were required as these units are well appointed with high end materials and appliances. The whole process was excellent and communication between ourselves and the Linkside Team was smooth. We have been in our Villa for 5 months now and unlike our other new builds we have had ZERO regrets or second guessing of materials, colors, and upgrades. This was a significant downsize for us and it fits us and our lifestyle perfectly! The community and neighbors are just what we hoped to find in a 55+ community. Old Hawthorne CC is walking distance with all of its amenities - Dining, Golf, 2 beautiful pools, tennis, pickle ball, and a fully appointed Fitness Center. It is truly Resort Living! Our new neighbors have been very welcoming, cordial, and helpful. We have dinners, get togethers in our community Clubhouse, and Game Nights. We have found our new forever home, and couldn’t be happier!

We have moved many times over our more than 35 years together. Buying a home in Linkside at Old Hawthorne was the best move ever! Antionette helped us make all the important customizing decisions and guided us through adding extras and arranging for our appliances. We watched Hurdle construction build an incredible home showing an unusual degree of attention to detail. From beginning to end, they gave us great advice and suggestions. Once we moved in, they continued to assist in making sure they could fix any issues we discovered. The grounds are beautiful and maintenance-free. But more than our home is the community environment of great people and facilities, including workouts at the gym and fine dining at the club. Strongly recommend you investigate Linkside when you decide to relocate.

We are incredibly happy we moved to Linkside at Old Hawthorne. Our Villa is beautiful and well-constructed. With exterior maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal taken care of we have more time to enjoy life and travel. While not a need right now, we also like that our home is designed for aging in place. The Linkside community is welcoming with many friendly neighbors and fun community activities. Home to several universities, Columbia is a vibrant, small city offering all the essentials, including quality healthcare; and its conveniently located midway between Kansas City and St. Louis.

I've lived in Linkside for just over 5 years and moving here was one of my best decisions! My villa is perfect for me, is very well-constructed, is convenient to everything I need, and Old Hawthorne is an excellent community and country club! The best part of living here though, is the amazing neighbors and the close knit neighborhood we've developed. Antoinette, Bob, and Blake are great as well!
