What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, the YMCA receives strong positive feedback, particularly for being an inclusive community space with excellent, varied workout classes included in the membership, clean facilities, and friendly, well-managed staff and volunteers. Specific praise was given to a T-ball coach for patience with children and helpful staff during membership setup. However, some concerns were raised, including a parent's view that classes might have too much free time (though a child enjoyed it) and a suggestion for better management of class levels. A significant concern highlighted was excessively high chlorine levels at the pool, causing strong odor, eye irritation, and difficulty breathing, with a request for immediate review of water quality and air safety.

The YMCA is one of my favorite places in St. Cloud. This is truly an inclusive community space where all walks of life are represented. I regularly attend the excellent workout classes. My favorites are group cycle and strength interval training. I love that classes are included in the gym membership, and there are SO many options to choose from throughout the week. I also enjoy using the steam room and sauna after a good workout. The Y is extremely clean and well-managed, with friendly staff and volunteers. Highly recommend!
T-Ball review I don’t even know the T-ball coaches name, but our 4 year old also had the same coach last summer and he’s SOOOOO good with the kids. So patient, and explains everything at their little levels. Nothing but good things to say.
Great facility and staff. Had a really good experience getting my membership setup with an employee here. I think his name was Jake? It’s also nice to have this gym in the midst of a good sized park!
I thought the instructors did a great job maybe gave the students a little too much free time at the end of each da. but my daughter enjoyed the free time. She said she didn’t think it was too much. I feel some parents are putting their kids in the wrong level Is there someway you can manage that better. Thank you.
I am reaching out to express my concern regarding what appears to be excessively high chlorine levels at the pool in your facility. The chemical odor is overpowering even before entering the pool area, and it has caused noticeable discomfort such as eye irritation and difficulty breathing. As a member of the YMCA community, I’m very concerned about the health effects this may pose—particularly for children, seniors, and those with asthma or other respiratory sensitivities. I understand that chlorine is necessary for sanitation, but the levels currently in use seem well beyond what is healthy or safe. I respectfully request that the pool's chlorine levels and air quality be reviewed immediately to ensure they are within recommended public safety guidelines. I’d also appreciate a response detailing any steps being taken to investigate and address this issue.
