It's clean and has lifeguards and snacks that are affordable. The bathrooms need help
We are new to the area and searched out an outdoor public pool. We found one in Watkins. We drove a half hour to get there only to learn they don’t accept credit cards. My husband had 11 dollars cash on him and at five dollars a piece we were charged 15 dollars. No where on the website did it say no credit cards accepted. Because of this and the fact that we were there on the last day of summer with less than two hours before close we asked if they could make an exception and just charge us 11. They said no so we turned around and went home. They lost money and a customer forever. Bad business and not exactly small town friendly.
The only reason I give this 4 stars is due to the cost of admission. $4 a person per visit can be costly unless you buy a season pass, which is also expensive. Other than that, this is the perfect pool. There is a Lifeguard on duty at all times, and the pool provides floaties, goggles, and life vests. There is a kids pool in a seperate area, so watching your young kids is easy too. Do not bring outside food or beverages, they are not allowed.
Made many memories at the pool. Some not good others were great! It's a fun place to go to swim that's for sure.
Very clean. Family friendly. Tasty snacks for sale. They also play good music!
