Water park with slides and a hot tub located inside the Dakota Square Mall.
The pools at Splash Down Dakota Water Park are heated to provide a comfortable experience for guests, even on cooler days. While specific daily temperature readings are not consistently published, the heating system ensures the water is enjoyable throughout its operational season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the water park indicate a mixed experience. While children generally have a lot of fun due to amenities like warm pools, jacuzzis, toys, arcade games, and provided swim gear (life vests, swim diapers, towels), several significant concerns were raised. Common complaints include the facility being excessively hot and humid, especially in seating areas, and notable cleanliness issues such as mold/dirt on floors, unmanaged piles of used towels, and cloudy water in the children's area. Safety is also a recurring concern, with reports of rust and sharp metal edges on slide structures, and sometimes only a limited number of slides being operational. Despite these issues, some found the staff accommodating and friendly, and appreciated the availability of locker rooms and the option to re-enter with an all-day pass, though the value of the all-day pass was questioned due to limited activities.

A ton of rust and sharp metal edges all over the place, especially on the slide structures. Strongly recommend getting your tetanus shots up to date if you bother coming.
Had our son's birthday party there. Seating is upstairs and it is super humid/hot! No ventilation, but the kids had fun. Thats all that mattered. We had an ice cream cake and they let us put the remaining in their freezer so it would not melt. Very accommodating!
I took my twins here for their 3rd birthdate. They had an awesome time swimming. They had swim diapers, life vests, toys, arcade games, towels. Almost all you would need. There is a locker room to store your dry clothes and things. The pool is warm. Jacuzzi is awesome. We had a nice time. It is warm in there and humid but it is nice.
Definitely fun for the kids. Wish I could say I’d be returning though. Lots of mossy mold (maybe) on the floors and just dirty stuff everywhere made it really unpleasant. The towels never got restocked and the used ones were piled all over on the ground in locker room. Seemed like the little kids area had cloudy water in it.
Great place for a family day. I don't recommend buying the all day pass. There isn't enough to do all day. You can leave and come back with the all day pass so that was nice with the kids. I went and only one slide was working but they still had a great time. Everyone there was friendly all the kids were playing. The place was clean and the staff was nice. They do have towels you can use. You also can slide with your kids if you want. Life jackets are available for 5 dollars.
