The pool itself is really nice to swim in since they keep it cool. Lap swim times are really not great - they need more frequent lap swim hours (INCLUDING SUNDAYS). It is really frustrating having only 1 hour to lap swim and literally every single lane is circle swimming. Overall the Griz Pool is a nice place to go for a good workout, but being able to find a time to work out is really challenging.

The Griz pool is an overall decent facility, but don’t rely on their hours for a workout. They consistently decide not to have their lap swim hours open during their “open” 11-1 time frame. I wouldn’t have an issue if they posted this online before people made their way all the way to the pool just to find out the pool is closed. Some people schedule their day around those hours, but I guess I’ll have to start finding other pools to swim in because this consistent last minute closings has become very unprofessional.

Strongly recommend going to Currents for kids lessons instead. Communication is poor at Grizzly Pool and lessons are shorter than other swim lessons in Missoula.

A fairly average pool used mostly by the University of Montana. Everything is decently clean and well-kept. It's actually one of the few places left in Missoula with a proper diving board; everything else is not worthy of note one way or the other.

I like the pool, but why is there hardly any lap swim hours? This facility used to be open for evening lap swim and weekend lap swim. What happened???
