What are people saying (AI review summary)? This YMCA location receives mixed reviews. Positive aspects frequently mentioned include good sauna and steam rooms, multiple basketball courts, and a 50m outdoor pool available in summer. Many appreciate the variety of programs offered and some describe the staff as excellent and serving. However, common criticisms point to the facility being cosmetically dated or outdated, with some reports of unclean locker rooms (though others state them as clean). Specific issues include the pool not being cold enough and a lack of certain weight training equipment or missing attachments. A notable negative experience involved a very rude front desk manager, which deterred a potential family membership, contrasting with overall positive feedback about the staff's helpfulness.

Good sauna and steam room but the locker room is never clean .. very outdated place . Pool never cold .. good basketball court tho ., the issue is the lacking of weight training equipment like chess press etc
Great place to visit, other YMCAs in Toledo may be better looking but this one is pretty decent. The best part is a 50m outdoor pool (open only during summer). They have family rates and they have a lot of different programs for people of different interests such as gym, gymnastics, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool etc.
Came here to visit passing through from work. My review only reflects my use of the wellness center. It’s a little dated cosmetically but the nuts and bolts are there. Some of The attachments for the free weight machine were missing, not on the attachment ‘tree’ , or in sight at all. They have two full basketball courts, a pool and two fitness studios. Facilities and locker rooms were clean.
Whoever the “manager” was on 01/19/2025 at 2pm at the front desk was a total jerk. She was super super rude. Could have been nice but instead was mean. She needs to be checked by whoever her boss is. Speaking to people like that is not right especially while on the job. She missed out on a full family membership because she was rude to me before I could even speak and tell her what I was going to do at the YMCA.
We Americans are so fortunate to have a facility that has all to offer. This is my church when their is none. We are blessed. The staff are our community, they go out of there way too serve, thank you staff.
