Wonderful stay. Perfectly maintained historical property. 5 star restaurant, " Mae's, " the best service and entree selection. Gluten free desserts and entrees. First class place. Every area of this resort is spotless. I have never seen an indoor pool as clean as the one here. Great staff!!! Fireplaces and open veranda just wonderful. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a stay here.
First time checking out the Historic Summit Inn and I was blown away. The history, the views, and the charm of this place are something special. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we encountered was genuinely kind, helpful, and made the experience even better. The rooms were clean and full of character. The service was top notch. The location could not be more beautiful. And obviously the views of the horizon are breathtaking. The only thing to note is that it is not dog friendly, so my small companion had to sit this one out. Because of that, it ends up being more of a one-night getaway for me. If pups were allowed, I’d be able to stay even longer. Already planning to come back soon and I am excited to bring the boys for a golf trip. One hundred percent worth checking out if you have never been.
Our experience was very nice. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets and incredibly relaxing evenings. Great eateries abound within a very short drive. I think a few more modern in-room amenities would have made our time 5 Star. It was a wonderful stay and we hope to return.
The people were so nice and accommodating . The food was excellent the service also. Spa massage was the best I have had. Our room was very nice, bed comfy. Pool was so nice to do laps or relax by. Inside pool, too! The view and sunset Beautiful. We will be back!
Historic Summit Inn is a beautiful location. The hotel is beautiful, and in a great location. The rooms need a little bit of an update. Our biggest issue was the AC unit was pretty loud and disruptive to sleep. We really enjoyed having a nice drink out on the patio looking out over the valley. Exploring out from this location was simple.
