What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the facility are mixed, with both positive and negative feedback. Positive aspects mentioned include great prices, nice lifeguards, and significant improvements such as new slides and a splash area, making it more kid-friendly. However, several negative experiences were reported: issues with locker security including theft and tampering, coupled with an unhelpful management response and a lack of warnings for patrons to bring their own locks. Another review noted a lack of staff, unlocked doors, and messy conditions during business hours. A particularly strong complaint highlighted a manager's disrespectful behavior towards a couple, falsely accusing them of public display of affection when one partner required physical support due to a disability, leading to a vow not to return while that manager is in charge.

Me and my friends went to the Baker pool And we put our stuff in the lockers, some girls bag got stolen, and someone dumped all of my change out all over the place far away from my locker, and messed all my stuff around. When the girl who got her bag taken and I talked to the manager she told me there was Nothing she can do about it and told the girl “check for it next time we come”, and told us to bring a lock. There are no signs or warnings to bring a lock for the lockers. I was pretty pissed off as anyone would be. I wish they offered locks or had some kind of key card or a password or something, like kings island.
I absolutely love this place! Great prices! The lifeguards are actually nice, which seems to be a rare find at pools these days.
Arrived during business hours no staff present doors were unlocked leaving access for anyone to enter even uncompanied kids it being near playground inside main building was a complete mess lifeguard equipment tossed on floors.
It has Def improved since I was there last which was before they added the slides and new little splash area! They did a Wonderful job with this pool and it's so much more kid friendly!
Gotta say, with my wife being disabled, there is a need for me to help, and/or, hold her to keep her from being knocked over or slipping. We've never had any trouble or caused any trouble; however, the lady "in charge" found it necessary to come up to us and say "There have been many complaints and though I appreciate the fact that you are in love, your PDA (public display of affection) is not appreciated. There are kids here at the pool so I'll have to ask that there's no touching". I wonder if Greg or any of the other public officials are aware that she treats people this way. It doesn't matter that we weren't making out, my wife's disabled, or that I'm a US Veteran... as a fellow human being, she should not be so disrespectful. If any behavior was unacceptable around kids, maybe the fact that some females are aloud to wear thongs in front of these impressionable children... or maybe the attitude she talks to others with such disdain and disrespect... there were many things where issues truly were but it was so much easier to go after other things where no real issue was. I truly hope this isn't Mayor York's idea of making things better for families in this town. I may live here but I truly will not go back while that woman continues to be in charge.
