What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews indicate a pool with potential but significant issues. Recurring complaints include unsanitary conditions due to duck/goose poop on the deck and in the water, with staff (lifeguards) refusing to clean it. Visitors also report terrible operating hours, frequent closures, and extremely cold water. Entry is slow and requires extensive personal information or a YMCA membership, despite being a public facility. Furthermore, there are frequent incidents of fights breaking out, necessitating police intervention. On the positive side, it is described as a nice pool with a good children's area.

Pool deck is covered in duck and goose poop. It’s running into the pool, kids stepping into it and bringing it into the water…. Asked a lifeguard if they could spray it away with a hose and their answer was “that’s not our job, you can call a manager.” Which is insane? Lol if there is poop on the pool deck a lifeguard can clean it. Grew up going here, was a lifeguard for years and our job was to keep the environment clean and safe or else the pool would not open to the public.
It’s a very nice pool and has the potential to be great. Their hours are terrible and they can at least clean up the goose poop all over the cement and grass, along with the feathers… I wish it was better taken care of.
It's a nice pool, but you would think it's a YMCA owned private facility and not a public pool that the citizens pay for. When you go you are required to present your YMCA membership card or you must provide your name, date of birth, home address, and your ID. On top of the blatant overreach, it takes forever to get in. We waited 20 minutes to get in and there were only about 6 people in front of us (just two parents and their kids).
Place is great if there aren’t kids fighting. Every time we go there is a big fight that breaks out and cops are called. Not really into taking my kids around that.
Only open for 4 hours on Sunday. Super cold water even on hot days. Finds every reason to close. Has a good children's area tho.
