What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Newton Pool generally receives high praise for being a clean, safe, and friendly facility, with many reviewers calling it the 'best town pool.' It's highlighted as an excellent venue for birthday parties, offering amenities like tables, shade, unlimited pool time, and helpful staff who assist with food and provide dedicated support (like Olivia). Many patrons feel a strong, positive connection with the staff, viewing them as 'family.' Residents enjoy free entry, while non-residents pay $10. However, there is a severely negative review from a family with a non-verbal autistic child, detailing instances of staff repeatedly yelling at the child for minor actions, ignoring the mother's requests, and ultimately kicking them out. This review also cited a manager, who is a special education teacher, participating in the mistreatment, and another manager making a derogatory comment to the mother, leading to a strong warning against bringing special needs children to the pool.

The pool is super friendly! And clean! Best town pool I've ever been to. It is ten dollars for none resident of Newton, but residents are free.
Love the Newton Pool! We had our son’s Birthday Party here and it was perfect! Great space, tables, shade and unlimited time to play in the pool! The team here ordered our pizza and provided ice cream and drinks! We also had a team member assigned to help us with the party, Olivia. Olivia was super attentive, friendly and helpful! She was there to help with anything we needed! It was a great time and we look forward to next year!
We stopped by the pool to visit with family while in town. Very nice, clean, safe and even a small concession stand
Worst pool I have ever been to! I travel around the country for my husbands work and I have never been so mistreated. My son has non-verbal autism and we were at this pool for about an hour and the entire time we were there they would not stop yelling at my son for every single thing he did. Even after I told them he had autism and to address me for any concerns. They were not yelling at any other kids except for him. They eventually kicked us out because I was sick of how they were treating him. Ex. He jumped in the pool. He walked into the baby pool. He was “running” . He was crying my daughter was in the pool and they told me I needed to in there with my daughter. If you have a special needs child do NOT go here, to make things worst one of the managers there is a special ed teacher and she was right along with it. Absolutely disgusting. And when I was walking out the other male manager told me I have a IQ of 10. lol How decent to say they to someone when you have been awful to their special needs child for the past hour. They should all be ashamed of themselves.
