It's a great place to chill, hang out with family, and feel safe and comfy. There aren't any lifeguards, so parents really need to watch their kids and everyone else. I totally recommend it.
This is a nice little beach you should visit during the hotter months. There were ducks in the water and bald eagles in the sky. I also saw some Canadian Geese with their ducklings.
Plenty of room for parking, great place to launch a Kayak from on base rather than a public spot in Lakewood and hope your vehicle doesn't get broken into.
Good place to take your kids swimming but somehow somebody messed it up now you got to park in the parking lot and walk all the way down to the beach before you can park on the beach but somebody had to mess it up for us all but still good place to take your kids swimming safe secure
