A majority reported overwhelmingly negative stays, citing severe issues such as the hotel being deceptively closed while still accepting reservations, rooms being unserviced and trashed upon check-in, significant hygiene problems (foul smells, dirty floors, unclean surfaces), and numerous broken or dysfunctional amenities (non-working phones, insecure window/door locks, faulty showers, leaking mini-fridges, uncomfortable mattresses). Many guests felt unsafe or highly inconvenienced, noting ignored special requests. However, several guests, even those with negative experiences, praised the politeness and professionalism of the front desk staff. One review was entirely positive, commending the hotel for its professional staff, stylish ambiance, delightful rooftop terrace, and pleasing buffet breakfast and afternoon tea, recommending it highly.

Literally the absolute worst hotel/motel experience I’ve ever had, really truly worse than any Motel 6 even. Get my key, go to my room, & my heart drops thinking I may have walked into someone else’s room. Nope, just hadn’t been serviced yet & was absolutely trashed from the last guest still at my 11:30pm check-in. Pick up the phone to call the front desk & nothinggg, correctly plugged in just not functional. Front desk gives me a new room (bottom floor, solo female) & the security latch is missing half the components so it’s useless. Close the blinds & notice window latch is up so I lock it & thankfully check it only to find, the window lock/latch is also inoperable. I decide to deal w/ it then discover 90% of the mattress springs are totally shot & it seems none of the surfaces/remote have been wiped down/cleaned. Needless to say, I slept fully clothed w/ my knife next to me & was out by 6am. Only reason I gave service 2 stars is due to the nice/friendly lady at the front desk, didn’t seem to be her fault exactly.
I would give this -5 stars if I could. This place is taking reservations but is actually closed with a chain link fence around the property. I just happened to be in the area and drove by it. Can you imagine the dismay & frustration one would be in if you were to show up to a property that is closed and then having to scramble for lodging. It's a very deceptive practice to accept reservations if your building is closed. I called OYO and they didn't even know the property was closed. What scam are they running here?
Pretty awesome experience during our stay! I'm not sure what was more interesting, the sour milk smell in the whole room (one of the staff remarked that they'd "opened the window" when asked if it was ready, so clearly a known problem), the loose change and cigarette butts on the floor of the room, or the hot and cold being reversed in the shower. The big stack of abandoned furniture in the parking lot was a nice touch, and really helped lend the place a nice "serial killer hunting ground" vibe. However, I will say the front desk staff were very helpful and polite. I highly doubt we'll be back but it's through no fault of the reception desk.
By far the worst hotel I have ever been to. Towels were too tiny for even a small person to use. The shower would not keep a warm temperature at all. It kept turning ice cold and couldn’t shower for more than two minutes without it turning cold. The room was pretty empty and didn’t look welcoming at all. The mini fridge had water leak all over the food I had gotten which was annoying. The bed only had two pillows which would normally be ok but not for two people staying in the room. I asked for more extra pillows and towels in the special requests and they were ignored completely. The only thing about this hotel that didn’t make me angry was that there was a Dutch Bro’s down the street. :)
All the previous outstandingly good comments about this hotel I agree with, especially the professionalism of the staff. The ambience was stylish and relaxing. The rooftop terrace was a delightful bonus. The buffet breakfast and afternoon tea catering was pleasingly presented. I would certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends. Book early to avoid disappointment!
