This pool is clean, has two different slides, a dive board, and large wading pool. Lots of modern chaise loungers surrounding the pool. The place is well-staffed with friendly yet attentive guards that seem to work well together. Kudos to Blair.

We enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere. The lifeguards did a fantastic job teaching swimming lessons. I wish there was more shaded seating.

It can be hard to find relief from the hot summer day in Blair, Nebraska. That's why the Blair Public Pool is so popular for young people. With two water slides and a fun staff, it's a great places for kids to go to cool off during those months between Memorial Day and Labor Day. However, when its hot and you'd like a dip in the pool, there are likely a multitude of Blair residents thinking the same thing at that very moment. A noticeable tension Blair had had to balance is the crowd size. Some days the place is swarming with people, both in the main swimming pool area and the "kiddie pool" area. So come early and claim a spot, or be prepared to put some money down for a swim at the YMCA down the street. You won't get the golden tan from being out in the open, but you might have a little more personal space.
