I went to Genesis - Sprague location today with the intention of cancelling my membership...until I met Jason Johnson the assistant manager. I have been paying for but not using my membership for over a year. Jason took the time to ask me some key questions and pointed out that I am already lock in for another 45 days so I should take the opportunity to utilize the facility and make a more informed decision. I am scheduled to meet with a trainer (free service that I never took advantage of!) and I will evaluate my options. Jason was very professional and encouraging. I am hoping that I find my future interactions with staff to be the same. My stars are for Jason. He is a very welcoming and professional face at Genesis - Sprague!

Nice gym. Glad to see some new equipment. Wish they would take care of the outside. Can't walk on the sidewalk because the shrubs are so overgrown, the curbs are disintegrating and there are a couple of huge wholes in the drive in/out of the parking lot that you have to avoid.

Jason Johnson was immensely professional and helpful as he provided me with a guest pass and a in-depth tour and explanation of the facilities. Shall I decide to change gyms, it will be due to Jason’s diligence to ensure I would be making an informed decision to get a membership. I went in to cancel my membership today. After being told I would not have a pay a yearly fee on 09/15 the assistant manager Jason crossed out the year fee. I then initialed next to it confirming the modification to a legally binding contract. About 30 min after I got home he then called me and said I would have to pay it. I informed him that the contract was modified and initiated to solidify the modification.

I give this gym a 2-star rating. Parking lot is a mess, gym is dirty and has a workout smell. It is lacking basic amenities like a water filler. Gym equipment is old, worn and tattered. No one cleans up after themselves. If I would have done my homework I would have never signed up for a full year contract. I hear there are a couple other genesis gyms that are nice in Omaha, unfortunately the one on 147 & Sprague not so much!
