Public pool that's suitable for kids, with reviews mentioning its cleanliness and quality.
Specific, regularly updated pool temperatures for Kurt Beyer Pool are not readily available in public online sources. As a seasonal outdoor municipal pool, its temperature generally fluctuates with ambient weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The public pool is generally praised for its free entry, clean water, and the availability of swim teams/lessons, along with a nice surrounding park and playground. However, multiple reviews highlight significant issues, primarily concerning lifeguard professionalism and behavior. Patrons reported lifeguards not enforcing rules, engaging in unsafe conduct, and exhibiting body shaming or mockery towards swimmers. Other major concerns include inconsistent rule enforcement (e.g., t-shirts in the pool), limited operating hours (closing too early for some), and a critical lack of accessibility, specifically the absence of stairs for individuals with mobility challenges. Reviewers suggest hiring professional and respectful lifeguards, extending operating hours, and adding stairs to improve accessibility.

Great public pool! Free entry and they have swim team/lessons in the AM. Clean water, nice guards :)
Nice place the park that is the pool has rules. For your safety yet. On lifeguard breaks. There. Throwing each other in. Repeat diving not waiting. For others to get out of the. Way to be honest ther need. A complete new staff and longer hrs 6 don't give enough for the people that work later 8 pm is a good time
I think the pool and the surrounding park and playground are really nice. We had a really good experience except and I think this is important is there any way stairs can be added for people with health problems like me who had difficulty getting in and out of the pool with the ladders. I would really like to come back but don’t think I can be cause of the accessibility problems.
They need to do something about getting professional life guards. Not ones who just because they are skinny laugh at bigger people when they jump in the pool and create big splashes. That is the second time I’ve been laughed at by guards for making a bigger splash. I’m honestly not a big person I am just a bit overweight but the skinny life guards who are girls thought it would be cool to laugh at me and make me feel even worse about myself. I will never be attending this pool again because that’s not right. You’re there to save lives not make fun of people.
They allow kids to wear normal t shirts but when I try to they tell me I can't I feel like they are body shaming people who don't feel comfortable swinging shirtless if I could give 0 stars I would it is that horrible
