Reading people's reviews on this property. It's very sad how people are been treated at this property. "A tow car company keeps taken their cars away, the tow car company seems aggressive, hostile and scamming people." Reading reviews written by people on this page. I went to this property yesterday for the very first time. The first thing I saw when I got to this place was a tow truck out side the entrance of the building. I am going to buy a car, I am going to park the car somewhere there in this property, I am going to fill the car with gifts so when this company picks up my car, have access to my car, they all can share the gifts I am putting inside my car. It's very sad how people are been treated these days at these places.

Hydra Recovery Corp – Absolutely the Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had I am beyond furious and devastated after my experience with Hydra Recovery Corp. This company wrongfully towed my vehicle from a location where it was 100% legally and properly parked. There was no valid reason, no warning, and no signage indicating any kind of restriction. Their actions were completely unjustified and felt like an outright scam from the beginning. But the nightmare didn’t stop there. When I finally recovered my car, it had sustained well over $5,000 in damages. We’re talking deep scratches, dents, undercarriage damage, and misalignment that made the car borderline unsafe to drive. It was clear that no care was taken during the tow—my property was treated with complete disregard. To say I’m angry is an understatement. This company’s negligence and recklessness have cost me thousands of dollars, days of stress, and countless hours trying to fix a situation I never should have been in to begin with. Hydra Recovery Corp should be held fully accountable for the damages they’ve caused—not just to my vehicle, but to the peace of mind and trust that any customer should be able to expect. In my honest opinion, this is one of the most dishonest, careless, and unprofessional companies I’ve ever encountered. Their actions feel predatory, like they’re targeting innocent people for profit through shady and unlawful practices. I wouldn’t wish this kind of experience on anyone. I strongly urge the island club West to recognize the severe harm and financial burden this company has inflicted on me. I’m not just angry—I’m broken, and I want justice for what they’ve done. They will have their day in Court.

This company is under some serious corruption with the towing company… they will tow your car just because they can and make you pay twice the price JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN, and 100% whoever owns this place it is getting a cut out of that, this is a mafia that will not care about your rights, as a visitant or resident, they WILL tow your car. Towing company will treat you like they have all the power over you to charge you whatever they want and this company will wash their hands and say they can’t do nothing about it, if you ask, the employees won’t’ know or will pretend they don’t know anything just to cover it up. This is a terrible situation that should be under further investigation by the police department, because it will keep happening . I live in the community right next to this and you can see a tow car there EVERYDAY taking a new victim, everyone is committing infractions everyday multiple times a day? I don’t think so…

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The HOA is 100% corrupt and is definitely receiving kickbacks from the towing company. Even when visitors follow parking rules and have proof, they tow your car. When you have proof the towing company block's your number and refuse to talk to you and the HOA says it is outside their control. When the president of the HOA was contacted, they said "it is outside their control" which is completely untrue. They can hire a reputable towing company... but a reputable towing company would not be as corrupt as they are. They just don't care at all and will allow this to go for as long as they are making money. This is the definition of EVIL.

Very bad place to visit, live in, or stay at!! Your vehicle we ll be towed for no reason. Patrons and guests who actually live there long term had their vehicles towed multiple times at their own expense. Read their reviews and the BBB complaints. Has agreement with corrupt towing company called Hydra recovery corp who has judgements all around the state against them. They keep moving to avoid payments. They towed my vehicle and has over $2000 in damages. (Still waiting for the adjuster for a correct dollar amount) Island Club West will be sued after investigation is complete. Stay away. Plenty of places to stay here in Florida. Avoid this one!! Manager Ramos or Don Asher in charge of HOA are in cahoots with the towing company and most likely split the proceeds. They ll have their day in the near future.
