Specific pool temperatures for Erb Swimming Pool are generally not publicly listed as a fixed number, but outdoor community pools like Erb are typically heated to a comfortable range, often between 78-82°F (25.5-27.8°C), especially in cooler climates, to ensure an enjoyable experience for swimmers during the operating season.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are mixed, highlighting both positive aspects of the facilities and significant concerns regarding operations and staff. Patrons appreciate the large pools, variety of slides for different age groups, family-friendly environment, affordability, and general cleanliness. However, common complaints include inconsistent rule enforcement by lifeguards (especially concerning slide access and the inability to wear life jackets on smaller slides), a perceived lack of lifeguard attentiveness and professionalism, slow and lengthy check-in processes, and a small parking lot. Some also mentioned the play area being small or the splash features being overstimulating for younger children.

I mean I love everything about it except the small play area. My son hates the sprinkler/splash. #overstimulated Big pool for the big kids. Slides slides for the big kids. And smaller slides for the younger kids, shallow enough for the youngest of kids.

I loved this pool up until recently.. the pool itself isn’t the problem. It’s the people working. Lifeguards constantly not even paying attention, or you have it where each lifeguard enforces different rules. My 5 year old son was told he couldn’t go down the yellow kid slide, but yet during swim class he could? He also isn’t over the height for it either.. they just kept picking and choosing what kids they didn’t allow on it.. Whats funny is serval other kids who are the same age and height were able to go down that yellow slide attached to the splash pad no problem no one said a word.. heck even bigger kids went down it. The inconsistency is ridiculous.. I also find it absolutely dumb that my child can’t wear a life jacket down the smaller slides, but any other pool you go to allows it.. my child is still new to swimming, drowning happens fast.. I think a life jacket on the slide shouldn’t be a big deal, because 90% of the time today when I was at this pool the lifeguards were standing with their backs turned from that slide not giving a care in the world. They wouldn’t of even seen if a child went under and didn’t come back up right away..

Will NEVER return to this pool! My grandson took swim class here 2 weeks prior to us going, he’s was allowed to go on the small slide during swim class but then when we go during open swim he’s told he can’t. My other grandson who is under 48 inches tall was told he’s too big he couldn’t go on it. There were other kids the same size as him who were allowed to go on it. The number of lifeguards here that do not watch, pay attention and arent even dressed appropriately in my eyes to jump in when needed is mind blowing. One girl stood around chewing on her fingernails for 30 minutes NOT watching the kids in the water at each station she went to. Another girl was dressed in a sweatshirt and sweatpants with shoes, a young gentleman was too busy talking to his buddies who showed up! Meade pool is ran better! Yeah, there isn’t as much to do for kids but at least I can count in the lifeguards paying attention to every kid in that pool and being on high alert. Erb not one lifeguard was on high alert.

Wow great addition to Erb Park. I haven’t been away for 7 years. The pool setup is great. Family friendly. Foods are affordable. Entry fee is good. Paid $16 for 5 kids. Clean and well staffed. There is room for everyone. Gets busy. Parking lot is small.

Decent pool, but there is no reason why is should take 30 minutes to check people in and get through the line. The Kaukauna pool gets a line twice the size down in half the time, whatever the check in procedure is, needs to change to improve wait times. there is no reason it should take more then 2 minutes per family to check in.
