They were closed for the day even though Google maps states it’s open. To add to that someone called the cops when we went to check for hours of operation signs. When they showed up they asked my sister for her for ID. Need to state that she was with other sister(13) & cousin (18f). She needed to get her ID from the glove box and stated so. Officer was uneasy and had his hand ready at the holster. I don’t know what goes around the town for an officer to be that unsettle by three females (one trying to get her ID after being instructed) let alone having 3/4 squad cars to be there. But if that’s the reaction, maybe the job isn’t for you or just need to retrain. I’ve tried to leave a review for their station about this interaction just like I can for the station near me but it’s restricted (for a reason I’m sure).

This is my favorite public pool to go to it is usually never overcrowded like other local pools and the depths of the water and open spaces for small children who can't quite swim by themselves have a lot of room to learn. Everyone leaves happy. I do wish they had a bigger snack selection... frozen snickers are part of the experience 😋 👌

Super fun, but it is very difficult when the only fun thing in oglesby is the pool especially when it is hot outside.... and all you guys do is close. The person that decides if it stays open or not should be fired.

Cash only - please post that so people visiting the area will know. The atms nearby were out of order, but once we found a working atm in North Utica and came back, we were able to enjoy the pool.
