Visited on a Sunday, the water park wasn't to busy. It features 2 body slides, 2 tube slides, lazy river and a water playground (for smaller kids, however I think it's fun for all ages) there is a fee for parking, $17 if you don't stay at the resort. You can eat on site, or eat out about 15 minutes out side of the resort. The waterpark itself is clean and nicely maintained. I would recommend for the price 👌
It wasn't bad. But not the best either considering the price. There's a couple of body slides, a tube slide, a small lazy river, and a little kids play area. When we got there, the body slides where closed. The lazy river was over crowded. No one seemed to be managing it. There was only maybe one tube for every 10 or more people in the lazy river and a fight broke out over the tubes. Which shut it down for quite some time too. Eventually everything opened up and we were able to enjoy the whole park. The kids had fun enough and I guess that's what counts. I do appreciate that you can come and go and you dont have to pay to get back in if you leave for lunch.
This was a great place to visit. So sad that it will be Closing permanently in October. Truly enjoyed this place. Would definitely return if it gets bought. Raging waves is a out 20 minutes away. Pirates cay on Property was nice. Rooms were very clean & stocked with all your needs as a home. Keep this place open!
We came to the waterpark for the day with cousins. The park was in clean, working order, but it was pretty busy due to winter break. After being in the lazy river off on and over an hour or so, I developed a skin rash on my arms and legs from the chemicals in the water and had to get out. I rinsed off in the locker room showers, and the rash went fully away within an hour. We didn't purchase any food, but the pizza we saw other tables eating looked good. $20 for a large cheese, or $20.99 for pepperoni or sausage. Overall, it was an enjoyable time, and I would take my kids back again.
We felt very safe allowing our children to play independently here. Very safe for kids. We brought an age range of 2-10 years old and had no problems. Definitely would go back.
