What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this establishment are highly mixed, ranging from very positive to severely negative. Guests consistently praise the staff for being polite, helpful, friendly, and kind. Some rooms are noted to be clean with newly redone floors and comfortable beds, and the location is generally described as quiet and safe. However, significant concerns are raised regarding the overall cleanliness and state of the property, with multiple reports of rooms being filthy, run-down, and poorly maintained ('ghetto fixed'). Amenities like the pool and 'free Wi-Fi' are frequently described as unreliable or unavailable, and AC can be slow. There are also serious accusations against the owner regarding neglecting property maintenance and failing to address animal dumping, leading to fear of retaliation among some long-term residents. I've been staying here for a while now, and I'm posting this under an account without my name on it because I'm terrified of retaliation from the owner. I can't move because of the never-ending cycle of paying for the room. If you stay here, you're basically paying luxury prices for a room that's been ghetto fixed for you to stay in. Gazebo is nearly falling apart, and they thought a poorly laid patio and planting a couple of trees would fix it. Don't count on the pool being open until 2 weeks after the town pool opens or when the owner just doesn't feel like opening it. Smoking rooms come with smoke alarms that are either off and unplugged or don't work at all. The "free wifi" they have is regular in home internet boxes. If you aren't close enough to the room with the internet boxes in it, don't count on wifi either. The owner doesn't do anything about animals getting dumped on property when people move out or even while staying here. Had to take it upon myself to make sure a few dumped pets ended up in good homes. (Dumping animals is animal abuse. Animal abuse is a felony in this state. Owner has descriptions of all animals living on property, so he has to be aware of who dumped the pets. He won't call ivar until the pet has been out there for weeks.)

Room was clean with newly redone floors. The mattress was comfortable (yet squeaky) and the service was rather good, the staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was also a great touch. The AC worked fairly slowly and the rooms were a bit outdated compared to other hotels/inns. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

Has its ups and downs. But at the end of a long week. Usually dependable. Clean. No bedbugs. No weirdness. Just sometimes doesn’t have a non smoking room available. For the staff and affordable price. Worth looking into. Nothing fancy. No am breakfast. But serves its purpose. Quiet. Safe area. No crime. It’s alright.

Good Heavens!!! This place was filthy, old, run down and falling apart. Walking around in my bare feet the bottom of my feet turned black!! There were obvious full timers living there. The place was disgustingly dirty and unsanitary. I hope we didn't collect bedbugs in our luggage. The positive was the staff were very nice and the bed was very comfortable.
