I have been a member for over 8 years at this specific club. The new Club Manager Tyler has proven to be highly effective! He's making it happen at North Lawrence! For years the pool has remained dirty and unclean to the point that I couldn't stay in the water. I realize the pool is used constantly. I showed him the disgusting hair ball that was lying at the bottom of the pool. He promised to get the robotic water cleaner going regularly to change this. Since that day, it looks great! I also noticed the equipment area being cleaned thoroughly. This is something I've never witnessed. And, equipment is finally being repaired! I have greater confidence in using this facility now. Thank you to Tyler and his team. And, thank you for changing the management here. The prior Manager was all talk and no action to say the least.

Awesome club, has everything you would want for a workout. I was in town visiting for a conference and found it to be very convenient and the staff are super helpful. Assistant manager Mike is excellent and very polite and personable, he makes sure you are taken care of when you are in town. Brad is excellent at the desk and a great resource to get you oriented to the club and the area. Thank you Genesis!

I’ve been a member at Genesis for years and watched it slowly decline to a run-down turd. When you bring up a problem it seldom gets taken care of right away. Usually weeks before anyone actually does anything. Especially the cleanliness. The place is just all around grimy. If the dust buildup on equipment isn’t gross enough, for months I’ve asked them at the front desk to PLEASE clean the mold and mildew off the shower walls. It’s still there and doesn’t seem to be leaving anytime soon either. So… What am I actually spending money on? Also, I used to use the hot tub all the time but whoever is balancing the chemicals does a horrible job. I ended up with topical dermatitis so bad my doctor put me on steroids and told me to stop getting in the hot tub at Genesis. I had it everywhere but my face. Which is the only part of my body I didn’t submerge in the water. I’m a big fan of hot tubs too. And this is the only one I’ve ever had problems with. My skin was literally burning off in big patches. When I brought it up with management it’s crickets. Maybe if I complain enough they’ll either give me a free membership for life or they’ll terminate my membership because I wrote a really bad review. In any case they’re still taking my money each month and don’t really have a good structured method of cancelling your membership without being threatened financially by a contract that has so many holes in it you’re better off just ordering a stop-payment from your bank. Eventually the district manager will call and tell you that they’re having trouble getting your payment. That’s when you’ll explain to them that you put a stop payment on your bank account because they continually give you the run-around when it comes to cancelling your membership. Hope this helps you make an informed decision about your health club membership.

Absolutely EXCELLENT customer service from Blake, a front desk manager. He personally made a difference in my life when helping me get my membership started. His kindness will forever live in my heart! Thank you so much good sir 🙏 BTW this gym literally has workout equipment for every muscle in the human body possible to exercise and improve. I love the large selection of options available.

Excellent facility. Much more here than it appears from the front. Everything you need and then some. Staff is uber helpful and professional. Tyler was especially great! I’ve been to a lot of fitness centers in my life and this is first class! Don’t go anywhere else for your fitness needs.
