Cool, clean, and free, playground, splash pad.
As a splash pad, McKenzie Station Splash Pad Park does not contain traditional pools with regulated or heated water temperatures. The water is typically fresh, unheated tap water, so its temperature would generally be ambient or slightly cooler than the surrounding air.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The splash pad is generally well-received, particularly for families looking to cool down on hot days. Reviewers frequently praise its cleanliness, functionality, and appeal to children, with many expressing intent to return. Seating and some shaded areas are available, along with refreshments for purchase. A notable drawback, however, is the facility's occasional closure for private parties, which caused frustration for one visitor.

We went by to let my 3 year old play. She's recently not afraid of splash pads, and she loved this one!!! We had just visited The Happy Book Stack, and this popped up as something else to do in the area. I'm so glad we went by and checked it out! They also have drinks and ice cream available to purchase in the caboose nearby, but we did not get anything on this visit. We will, however, be coming back again soon!
okay, but had to leave because it was closing due to a private party. at a public park. don't understand why a public park can be reserved and closed
Perfect for a hot summer day! Could use a few more benches in the shade but the water felt so great.. who needs a bench!
We took the grandkids out to this splash pad. It's a nice and well kept place to cool down on a hot summer day.
I took my grandson today for the first time. He had a great time and there was ways to stay out of the sun and sit down. Very clean, everything worked, will return soon.
