Water park with a river popular for tubing and kayaking, plus wild horse sightings.
As a natural river, the Salt River does not have controlled pool temperatures. The water temperature varies seasonally, typically ranging from cool to refreshing, influenced by weather conditions and snowmelt from its source. Exact temperatures are not monitored as they would be for a controlled pool.

What a perfect day. The scenery, wildlife, clean water and lovely weather made this a day to remember!
Great place for a bike ride and view of wild horses 🐎
Had an absolutely incredible time. Weather is perfect right now. Also, was thankful to see a couple horses. Beautiful day.
Must buy a ticket to spend time here. It's about $12 put on the dash spend your day. Bathroom yes, picnic tables yes, red ants really yes. Water is freezing black flies were out when we got there. I highly suggest wearing shoes in the water. A lot of trash in water. Many folks bring pop ups food and spend the day.
Tubing down the river is a blast. I would recommend bringing two cars so that you can shuttle. You can also bring a dry bag to keep your phone to make sure you don't get lost. The water is mostly calm and there wasn't ever any areas we were worried about.
