Clean community-run pool featuring water slides, a kids area and a snack bar.
The Morton Public Swimming Pool maintains its water at comfortable temperatures suitable for recreational swimming throughout its operational season. While specific daily temperatures are not publicly detailed, they are generally kept at levels typical for an outdoor community pool to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Morton Pool receives mixed reviews, generally praised for its cleanliness, polite staff, and various amenities, including a large pool with lap swimming, diving boards (high and low), two slides, and a fenced-in baby/toddler area. Special events like affordable toddler time are appreciated. Many find it a fun, family-friendly destination with cheap snacks, and some consider it a good value. However, significant frustration is reported regarding strict and often unclear rules about the use of infant floats, goggles, and life jackets on diving boards or slides, which can lead to a negative experience. Pricing is a point of contention, with some finding it expensive ($12 per person or $42 for a small family). There are also operational complaints about inaccurate operating hours listed online and on Google, causing visitors to be turned away.

This is my favorite pool in the area amongst the surrounding cities. The pool is clean, the employees are polite, and they offer special times for certain events. The specific time I brought some toddlers with me for toddler time and it ended up being $2 a piece, which was extremely affordable considering they were only swimming for an hour. I appreciated that this was offered. We will plan on visiting again!
If I could leave zero stars I would. $42 for two children and 1 adult infants and toddlers can’t use infant floats no googles allowed. No lifejackets on the diving boards so when I took the goggles wrapped them around my adult hands got told I couldn’t use the diving board. So basically unless you’re planing on not enjoying your day don’t pay the ridiculous pricing to go here. Washington Il pool is great tho thankfully after complaining they gave me a full refund and we left thanks for ruining my daughters birthday by blowing whistles there’s also no signs indicating you can’t do diving boards or slides with a life jacket or anything as well. I’m super frustrated with the whole event. The manager and the younger kid at the front office were nice and polite though I do appreciate that but that’s the only good thing I’ve got to say about the overall experience here.
One of the last water parks in the local area. They have a fenced in baby pool. It's not too expensive but if you have a few people it's gets pricey at 12 a person. Worth the money though. Big pool has a section for lap swimming and a no splash zone. There are two diving boards and two slides. Snacks are cheap. They do adult swim. It's a great place for the whole family
A friendly tip- change your hours on Tuesday to 4:00, so people don’t come all the way here to be turned away. It’s not on the website at all, or on Google business. We love this pool and was disappointed when we couldn’t swim today!
We had a lot of fun swimming at the Morton Pool. It is a nice sized pool with a high and low diving board and 2 water slides. There is a little kids area that big kids aren't allowed in.
