About

Swimming pool and hot tub featured at this clean venue.

Specific, year-round pool temperatures for the Indigo Sky pool are not publicly available. As a community outdoor pool in Arizona, its temperature likely fluctuates with ambient weather conditions and may be unheated or only seasonally heated during cooler months.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool areas receive mixed reviews, with some praise for their size and cleanliness, and occasional good supervision by attendants. However, there are significant concerns regarding management and rule enforcement. Many residents express a desire for the HOA to invest in better, more 'resort-style' pool facilities. A major complaint is the lack of staff monitoring and intervention regarding disruptive behavior, particularly from noisy children and families, which negatively impacts other patrons' experience. One incident describes a staff member's rude response when asked to address excessive noise. There is also a request for age restrictions in hot spas to allow older residents to enjoy these amenities, as young children are often allowed to splash in them. Lastly, some gate attendants are perceived as judgmental and apply rules inconsistently, such as checking coolers for younger residents but not older ones, leading to calls for equal treatment. Water quality is sometimes noted as cloudy, but generally not terrible.

There is always someone here manning the gate. Some attendants make you feel judged and if you come with a cooler they check the younger residents but not older residents. Everyone should be treated equal.

Good pool and good supervision by the attendants. Sometimes the water is a little cloudy at murky. But nothing too terrible.

This pool has a good size and always seems to be clean. However, there is absolutely no staff monitoring to address either the parents or their children on their behavior. Sometimes, an entire family is yelling at each other the whole time they are in the pool. I understand this is an outdoor area where kids can go to be boisterous; however, when one child/family is constantly yelling and/or screaming at each other, that needs to be addressed by the staff. Other pool patrons should have a chance to enjoy their time at the pool too. The last time I went to this pool, one single child was responsible for over 90% of the volume. Finally, after almost two hours of hearing this child yell and scream non-stop, I asked the staff person if she could say something to the parents, who were off in a corner visiting and completely ignoring their kids. She very rudely told me “this is a family pool and if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” My thoughts are that since I am part of a family and I pay the taxes and association fees for that pool, I should also be able to enjoy using it. I know there are many other adults who feel the same way I do, and many of them quit going to the pool because of what I have just described. That is just not right. There should be some kind of courtesy shown, taking into account that this is a public place where you need to consider how the people around you will be affected. Obviously, the public behavior in a pool has different expectations that other public places, such as a church or school. But no matter where you are, as a parent, your job is to teach your children to consider the feelings of others and if you won’t do it, then the staff should.

It’s unfortunate that there are no rules to keep children under 12 out of the hot spa. Older residents would also like to enjoy the amenities of Johnson Ranch. Parents allow small children to jump and splash on a hot tub of a 104 degrees. There is a huge pool with steps children can on.
