What are people saying (AI review summary)? The YMCA generally receives positive feedback, with reviewers praising its community focus, variety of awesome activities and programs, friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and suitability for families. Specific highlights include a new splash pad enjoyed by kids, great personal trainers, and a large, free playground area. However, some areas for improvement were noted, such as the need for updates to the playground (suggesting an accessible/inclusive design), paving the driveway, and the ball field being a bit small. A significant negative point was raised regarding the institution's policy of not allowing guest passes (requiring a member accompaniment) and a strict 30-day written notice for membership cancellation, which one reviewer deemed a 'scam' and a 'waste of money' due to perceived exclusivity.

A great place for the whole family , kids seem to love the new splash pad they have some great personal trainers and the lady at the front desk is always smiles and happy to greet you. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for physical fitness and a family outing!
A great YMCA. It's clean, friendly staff. Lots of equipment, variety of great programs for all ages. Come visit, try it out!
Took the family out and used the ball field and playground (which was free to use). Nice amount of land to play soccer, but the ball field was a bit small. Kept kicking the ball over the fence or hitting the ball over, but had a great time. They do have one of the biggest playground around with options for younger kids, however it needs a major update. I would love to see them invest in an accessible/inclusive playground and the driveway needs paved. Although we didn’t use it, I hear great things about the inside facilities as well as their cool splash pad.
I find it incredibly alarming that this is the only ymca that doesn’t not allow a guest pass and requires you come with a member! Just to be a guest! I’ve also called all the surrounding ones and they ALL allow guest passes. All I wanted to do was a couple laps in the pool and was gonna bite the bullet and pay for a month membership only to find out the ONLY way to cancel is a 30 day WRITTEN NOTICED you must hand in. This place is a SCAM and is clearly only meant for people in a certain spending bracket. DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat. WASTE OF MONEY!
