Great place for family reunions. We been going there the last couple years. Pool access is pricey and was disappointed because they closed at 5pm. We wwaited till the reunion broke up and decided to swim. No signs posted on pool hours and we paid for 1 hour. Online says 7pm it closes. Very disappointing closing early an hour after paying!!!
nice grounds - skating ring pool playground adjacent to shorter bike path walking trail
It's a bit expensive if you aren't planning on being there for a long time. Recommended usage: rent a pavilion for an event and start it early. Pay for pool access and return at your leisure while enjoying your BBQ or event.
I literally have never been SO annoyed by lifeguards. Brother and sister weren’t allowed to play together. You weren’t allowed to touch ANYTHING: ropes, ladder, steps. Literally felt like you had to stand in the pool and not move a muscle. Heck, I didn’t even have to be a parent that day because they yelled and blew the whistle so much. What makes it worse is there was less than a half dozen people there and they were being that petty. I can understand if they were packed. My son has ADHD and they were so rude. Another group of boys that were 12? The lifeguards literally told them how immature they were being. They truly acted like they hated their job. Baby area was closed. They don’t have a changing tables. Just isn’t worth the money for the entire family to go.
Pool wasnt open. There were no signs posted to alert us of the fact that its closed. Otherwise the playground was beautiful, entire park was clean, and the pavilion areas were well taken care of.
