What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives positive feedback, with many reviewers praising its cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and lifeguards, and fun environment, particularly highlighting the slide and its suitability for both lap swimming and families. Amenities such as free children's life vests and ample parking are also appreciated, with the facility noted as being 'hugely upgraded'. However, a significant concern was raised regarding a discriminatory and distressing experience involving a 10-year-old autistic child during a swim test, where there was a reported lack of instructions, unfair failure, inappropriate physical contact from an instructor, and a lack of staff intervention when the child was mocked, leading to feelings of humiliation and exclusion. A complaint filed regarding this incident reportedly received no follow-up. Minor points also mentioned include variable crowd levels and vending machines being a 'little spendy'.

I got a season pass this summer and have really enjoyed it! It’s a very nice pool (with a slide!) very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I mostly use it for lap swimming and have never had an issue getting or sharing a lane. I don’t have kids but that area looks very nice and fun as well.
I’m really heartbroken by the experience my 10-year-old nephew had at this pool. He is autistic and has worked incredibly hard over the last six months with dedicated swim lessons, just so he could enjoy this place! When it came time for the swim test, he was given no instructions at all—not even a simple explanation of what he was supposed to do. Then he was failed immediately. How can any child, let alone a child with autism, be expected to pass a swim test with zero guidance? It was deeply unfair and felt like he was being singled out because of his autism. To make matters worse, the instructor handling the test was physically rough with him. While she didn’t hit him, she did put her hands on him in a way that made both him and his mother very uncomfortable. That is completely unacceptable especially when working with children, and even more so with a child who has special needs. After being failed, he began to cry, and other children at the pool started pointing, laughing, and making fun of him. No staff stepped in to help or protect him. He was left feeling humiliated, isolated, and like he didn’t belong. No child should ever have to feel that way especially in a space meant for fun, inclusion, and community. My sister did file a complaint, but unfortunately, there has been no follow-up and nothing done to address the situation. I just want to make the public aware. These are the kinds of experiences that stick with a child and not in a good way. As people who work with the public especially children it is so important to show patience, compassion, and understanding. These roles come with a responsibility to foster inclusion and kindness, not exclusion and judgment. This pool should be a space where all children feel safe, supported, and valued especially those with special needs. Watching a child who worked so hard be dismissed and made to feel so small was truly painful. We can and must do better for our kids.
This place is awesome! HUGELY upgraded from previous. Often very few people here... then sudden hiards of children. Plenty of parking and a recreation field and park adjacent. Vending is a luttle spendy but FUN SLIDE! Def worth a visit if you're in town and hot!
Clean pool, friendly lifeguards and staff, fun environment! The free to use children's life vests is so nice too.
Awesome place to spend time with kids for swimming under the closed supervision of well trained life guards
