We come 2 or 3 times a year. This trip wasn’t the best. Our site was between 2 loud groups drinking and smoking. The first night kids were screaming until midnight. I told the front desk in hopes they would patrol the second night. The second night was loud too. I don’t know why there are any rules when nothing is enforced. Drinking in the pool area. Quiet hour not enforced. The site next to us just decided to move and take 2 spots right by us. They put up a tent in the second spot. They had 1 tag for 3 vehicles. They booked a spot in the middle but couldn’t fit all their vehicles and tent so they came and crowded us out. There dog wasn’t leashed. Doesn’t matter if you say something either. Both nights I didn’t get to sleep until after midnight thanks to other loud people. The people behind us decided to start yelling at 2 am. Dogs barking, screaming vulgarity at each other. The hot pools had the most people I have seen. Every time I’ve been people are drinking in them even though it’s clearly posted nothing is said. I’ve seen a guy cannonball into them. Trust me most people come to relax and understand the rules are in place for a reason.
Amazing!!! We LOVE this place. We’ve stayed in the RV spots and in the cabins. We LOVE the hot spring water in the pool, splash pad, water slides—everywhere. Love the Poolside Restaurant—the curly fries, the black hole sundae and the dole whip are our favorites. We come here at least once a year. Magical.
Been coming since I was a kid and was so disappointed to be treated so rudely when checking in and purchasing pool passes. We spent $500+ this weekend between camping and the pool but did not feel welcome. I understand this was a busy weekend and you are likely short staffed. One older lady with short hair and glasses almost made me turn around and leave. If you don’t want to be in this business and take our money please sell it to someone who does.
This is such a fun country water park. It’s small and warm and the soaking pools feel amazing. The slides are so fun too. There aren’t many, but they are fast and fun to do over and over
We found this campground by driving north on 15 and seeing a sign. They were very accommodating! Parking was easy. We got in too late to enjoy everything but it looks like a fun spot!
