First Council Casino in Newkirk has been my most-played casino for several years in a row, yet it’s also the most disappointing. After losing over $8,100 in 2025 alone, I expected at least some appreciation in the form of comps or promotions. Instead, all I get is $25 in free play per week which feels like a slap in the face compared to what other casinos give their regulars. No special events, no meaningful offers, no discounted tickets or comp food. The one time I tried booking a room after hitting jackpots, I still had to pay over $100 for a single night. The comps here are the stingiest I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve played at casinos all over the country. Honestly, it even feels like they might be giving less to locals compared to out-of-town players, which is especially frustrating as someone who’s been loyal to this place for years. There is zero incentive to keep playing here when other casinos actually reward loyalty. Until First Council starts offering meaningful comps and shows they value their players… local or not. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their money here either. I have always been a loyal player here, but I won’t spend another dime unless something changes majorly.

Some workers are great and some are very rude and not customer service oriented. Beds are hard pillows are extra soft. Have to present ticket for continental breakfast. Convenient to have small water park but short staffed lifeguards and breaks quite frequent. Casino side hotel needs some updating.

While this place has a great variety of table games and slots, it doesn't seem to pay as well as some of the smaller ones. I enjoyed their gascino more than the big one. Having been on almost every day or night of the week, I'd not recommend weekdays during the day. Never see it so anything major, but that's just my experiences. Regardless, enjoy yourself and win big!! 🤩

When doing reservations just place a reminder about the water park’s schedule. I was excited to come here since I came years ago so I chose a Monday just for the water park and I believed that I didn’t needed to read anything to come back. The room’s carpet was filthy. Our feet were black!! Break fast was awful; no eggs nor sausage. Just pure carbohydrates (I am pre diabetic). And add that the rooms do not have microwaves nor refrigerators so I could bring my own food.

Lots of games, fairly tight slots. But you can win for sure. Clean and usually busy. Players club with perks. Fun place to go play. Guy in players club Richard is awesome. He remembers my name every time I visit. No matter how long it has been.
