It's so fun come and swim in the pool
My favorite pool when we go to ponca city on vacation
Beautiful pool! Watched my third cousins take swimming lessons! Great staff!
The Blackwell Memorial Pool is easily seen from a main road in Blackwell called Main Street. There is parking along the street in front of the pool and a parking-lot on the south side of the pool. There is also parking across the street on the south side of the pool in a school parking lot. One pool is a 20 foot deep diving pool with a high dive and a low dive. A very large pool goes from 3 foot up to five foot with a slide. A splash pad is available for babies and toddlers. There are chairs to lay out in all around two sides of the longer pool. The life guards are stationed around the entire pool. The chairs they sit in are high above the pool so that they can see all around the whole pool. The life guards rotate to a different chair every so often and at times the entire pool is emptied of people, who sit on the sides, for a 15-minute lifeguard break. The building itself is nice looking and kept in good shape. The pool grounds are well manicured with nice landscaping and a large statue in front of the pool. Cost is $2 for adults. 1$ for children. I THINK 3 and under are free. The guys go to the left after paying and the girls go to the right after paying. There are plenty of showers with curtains, sinks, and toilet stalls. The dressing rooms have seating and a sun roof. You can rent a basket to keep your valuables in for 25 cents. They have vending machines and a snack bar with a place to sit and eat. The people who own the pool are very nice. I think you will have a fun time and a good experience at the Blackwell Pool.
It is always a Fun Family time here. Baby pool, big pool, high dive pool and now a splash pad. Also the owners and workers are very nice and have fair prices at their concession stand.
