Where do I start about this little piece of heaven that Victor and Ana so beautifully maintain in the town of Ponce in PR. I found this place at the last minute on google maps, and I am so happy I did. The villa is on top of a little uphill area giving a perfect vantage point for the amazing view of the mountain peaks. The animals on the farm make this place even more charming.. they have peacocks, horse, dogs, cats, koi fishes, parrots, rabbits, chickens, so many of them. The terrace is lovely to sit and relax and they have a swimming pool overlooking the mountains. We did not know that Victor and his brother were swimming champions, needless to say the pool experience we had with a complimentary swimming lesson from him and Ana was the best experience we had. Victor even cooked us an amazing breakfast. And for all the food needs, there are restaurants and supermarkets just within a mile away. The place is a little peace oasis, do yourself a favour and spend some time here. Thank you And and Victor for making our stay so lovely and memorable.

We stayed there recently on a last minute reservation and both Victor and Ana were quite efficient and welcoming. They made us feel like family. I highly recommend it if you wish to stay in a quiet place with a country feel but close to everything and easy access to major roads/highways.

This place was a piece of paradise! Quiet and secluded with mountain and forest views. Gentle breezes kept it the perfect temperature. It has a feeling of timelessness. You definitely feel like you are away from it all watching the peacocks, Horse, the coy fish, and listening to the birds while enjoying some exotic fruit or home cooked breakfast on the patio, yet it's just a short walk to Walmart for anything you may have forgotten and for groceries. The pool was really nice and there were many choices for the perfect places to set my yoga mat in the pleasant mornings. The house has Character and beauty. It is filled with art and interesting history. There is both an indoor and outdoor kitchen. I was able to cook my meals which was great because I have dietary restrictions making eating out difficult. I wish I could have eaten the amazing breakfasts that were made for the others. The very best thing about this place was the hosts. Anna and Victor go above and beyond making sure you are comfortable. I have never felt more welcome anywhere I have been than I have from these genuinely kindhearted and caring hosts. I stayed here shortly before things shut down for the pandemic so I ended up spending extra time at this amazing place. It's so nice here I had a full vacation even if I missed some or PR with the shutdown. If you get the chance to go see the Island of Puerto Rico I would recommend making this place your temporary home for your stay. I really hope I am able to visit here again.

There is no other place that compares to Villa Vassallo. The hosts are very friendly and have created a beautiful setting inside and out that makes you want to stay as long as possible. Thank you Ana and Victor for a beautiful and inspiring experience.

Victor Vassallo is a very wonderful person. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air condition is comfortable. Victor has peacocks, parrots, and chickens, along with horses. I wish I had more time to spend there. I didn't know that Victor is brother to Olympic swimmer gold medalist Jesus Jesse vassallo.
