What are people saying (AI review summary)? Lexington Pool offers amenities such as slides, diving boards, multiple pools, and a kiddie pond, along with cheap concessions. However, recent reviews, particularly from Summer 2022, point to significant issues including water quality problems (blue paint on skin, eye/throat irritation), inconsistent water temperature, maintenance issues like a broken water heater and sometimes no water in the pool, and operational concerns such as an inaccurate website and unfriendly staff. While some visitors praise the cleanliness of the facilities and ample parking, especially during events, and the overall Lexington Park District is well-regarded for its community programs, there is a clear sentiment for improved care and maintenance in future seasons.

Two small slides, diving boards, two pools, and a kiddie pond. Concessions are cheap! This past year (summer 2022) only one pool was sometimes warm and your skin was literally blue after swimming- as in Blue Paint on your skin. The kid's complained about their eyes and throats hurting even a day after swimming. Hopefully the summer of '23 will be a better year for Lexington Pool. My rating has gone from 5 stars to 3 due to blue paint on body after swimming, often broken water heater, and overall low care & maintenance.
No water in pool
The website says the pools open when it's not, dirty looks from the staff for no reason I am aware of, nice water though but other than that it's "Okay" at the most.
Once a year we visit for The Lexington Invitational. Nice pool and pool deck. Clean area and park surrounding the pool. Bathrooms are clean and showers work. A lot of room for parking.
Great local Park District with a lot to offer from kids programs, to community events, and great places to play and recreate. Awesome organization.
