What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives mixed reviews, with events like Semocon and monster truck shows being highly praised for their accessibility, entertainment value, and suitability for families. However, the pool area specifically garnered overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and staff. Multiple reviews cited issues such as sand, dirt, hair, chipped paint, rust, slimy floors, and overall neglect, leading to a perception of the area being dirty and unkempt. A particularly concerning incident involved the discovery of feces in the pool, which was reportedly closed only briefly and reopened after a quick chemical treatment, raising hygiene and safety concerns. Staff in the pool area were also described as unhelpful.

Went to Semocon with a few friends and it was a wonderful time. Very handicap accessible and water fountains available.
Went to 2022 extreme monster truck event good venue great for the kids trucks put on great show for space they had to run in motorcycle jump was good also
I took my granddaughters swimming. The price wasn't an issue. It was more of the cleanliness. There was sand and dirt on the bottom of the pool. A bunch of places had chipped paint. Hair on the side of the pool. (Looked like someone picked it up from the water and threw it on the walkway). Bathrooms had trash. The young man that helped us acted like he didn't want to be there and we were an issue. Sad because we used to love going to BRC
Recently attended a birthday party there. The staff was nice and attentive, but the pool itself and the surrounding area needs some big updates. It honestly feels dirty and grimy. It looks as if nothing has been cleaned or updated in the last 20 years. There was rust on the steps and filters, the floors were slimy, and it all could just use an update (a new coat of paint, new posters, a new mural, anything.) disappointed to see a space I loved so much as a kid look neglected. .....I only saw the pool area and locker rooms etc. I have not seen the coliseum, but the pool needs major attention.
The pool. Oh boy the pool. There was a mishap, and there was feces found. The pool was closed, for a few minutes...They did use chemicals in the shallow end after removal of feces. They waited about 10 mins and then allowed everyone to go back in. The whole ordeal lasted about 30mins
