About

Public pool featuring lessons and a diving well, along with a walking path and friendly staff.

The pools at the North County Aquatic Complex are typically heated and chilled to maintain comfortable year-round temperatures. The competition pool and dive well are generally kept between 79-82°F (26-28°C), while the recreation pool, especially for children and general use, is often maintained at a slightly warmer temperature, usually around 82-84°F (28-29°C).

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is the only public swimming facility in north Palm Beach county, praised for its good location, ample parking, and proximity to a nature reserve with walking paths. It offers multiple swimming lanes, a diving pool, and regular classes, with special commendation for dedicated swim instructors. While entry fees are noted to be increasing, many consider it a valuable recreational option due to limited alternatives. Reviews highlight incredibly nice staff and attentive lifeguards, and generally well-maintained facilities, though some past concerns about pool cleanliness and changing area odors were mentioned. Despite a perceived need for major renovation, it receives high recommendations for its overall value and services.

The only public swimming pool in the north Palm Beach county. Good location, off Toney Penna, bordering little nature reserve/park with walking paths, lots of parking spaces. Entry fee is inching up and up year after year, but OTOH, Jupiter and the north Palm Beach county have very little to offer in recreation, so pay and enjoy. There are number of swimming lanes 25y and 25m, and outside swimming teams, floating classes hours one can find that coveted "private" swimming lane. Diving pool is extra bonus. The cleanliness is sketchy, recently good, but there were days when pool was dirty and murky. The changing area is OK, but the smell is questionable despite hurricane strength huge fans blasting the place with recirculation air. This swimming pool could use major renovation, but as it is, still gets 5*.

What a delightful surprise! We thought this was just a pool but there's a fantastic short gravel walking path. We were delighted to see two owls (thanks to a photographer we saw whose photo I'm including)

My son was in swim class with Ms Julia she was absolutely amazing. My son has sensory issues and isn't comfortable with very many people from the first class he loved her. She was so attentive to him and his needs. She made him more comfortable in the water. I couldn't get him to go in the pool but by the end of his lessons he would walk down the steps. He's not swimming YET but atleast he's in the water, kicking his feet and floating on his back. Thank you Ms Julia
