Not fancy, but a very functional place to stay in Ogunquit. It's an older motel, but both our room and other facilities were extremely clean and in good shape. Staff very friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable. The memory-foam king-size mattress was very comfortable. Even when the weather is cooler we enjoy taking a quick dip in the water. The indoor pool was refreshing, and both the water and the pool room were spotless. Their location is outside of the main tourist area, which is sometimes a blessing. Downtown and Perkins Cove often feature bumper to bumper traffic, and parking can be difficult to find. If you drive north from Ocean Acres along Route 1 into Wells, you'll find plenty of places to shop, drink or dine at. And you're less than a 5 minute drive, or a 15 minute walk, to two different access points that take you directly onto the most perfect sandy Maine beach. Pretty hard to beat for the price.

Excellent experience. My husband and I were looking for a quiet trip to the beach and this hotel delivered on many fronts. It's pushed back from the road and there are lots of trees around creating a more peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and very clean. It had everything we needed. The sheets and bedding had a very fresh but not overpowering scent. The shower pressure was excellent and the temperature was constant. The staff accommodated an early check-in and our request for a second floor room. The free candy, stickers etc were a nice touch. 10 minute walk to Footbridge beach which was beautiful and felt very untouched. Nice and quiet. There are many great restaurants literally nextdoor and across the street so we didn't feel the pressure to venture out. We did take the trolley one day (Which picks up directly across the street) to do the Marginal Way trail. So convenient. All in all it was exactly what we were looking for. The price was extremely reasonable as well.

Only stayed for one night on our way back from Bar Harbor. The motel is less than a mile from the little “downtown” area with great restaurants all along the way. The room was spotless and equipped with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker plus very comfortable beds. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, but we didn’t have time to check them out. The place is not fancy, but was perfect for our needs and was a great price as well.

We took a group of young adults for a little time away before they all head off in different directions for college and such. Everything inside and out was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed both pools and the pool activities and floats. We enjoyed the outside activities provided. The pools being open until 11:59pm was great for us as we were looking to relax. There were lots of others guest but we never felt crowded.

Ocean Acres is centrally located, the staff and owners are really nice and it’s a great value. A clean, quiet space to relax at the end of an adventurous day, close to the beach, restaurants and town; also a half block from the trolly stop). Our kids love both the indoor and outdoor pool and the check in and out experience was quick, with great online and in person communication.
