What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are mixed, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. Many patrons praise the pool for its refreshing, cool water, which is ideal for lap swimming and training. The natural light within the pool is described as magical, and some staff members are noted for being friendly and doing a great job, especially with COVID-19 safety measures like limited capacity, 45-minute swim slots, and a convenient lane reservation system. However, there are significant criticisms regarding the experience for families with non-swimming children, as there's a lack of external floats and the kids' area is small and often crowded. Several negative experiences detail staff being overly strict or rude in enforcing rules, such as mask-wearing outside the pool, eating chips, and even brief breath-holding during lap swimming, leading to frustration and a desire not to return for some patrons.

If you kid can’t swim don’t take them here. There is no altitude given for small kids who can’t swim. No external floats at all, nothing. Either you can swim or you can use a single pool noodle. even then, the kids swimming area is fairly small and quickly fills up.
I love this pool! It's one of the highlights of the summer. The water is refreshingly cool which makes it great for speed work or preparing for long distance open water. The staff is wonderful. But the thing that has me hooked is the spectacular way the natural light plays with the water; reflecting above and below the surface illuminating streams of air bubbles, water and surface tension. It is magical!
The staff are doing a great job with the Covid-related schedule (they limit the number of people and clear the pool for a new group every 45 minutes). I'm loving the lane reservation system for lap swim times as well. Not sure if that existed pre-Covid, but it's really nice to be able to reserve a lane in advance. I have been three times in the last week and all of the staff/lifeguards have been friendly.
I was having a great time swimming laps. I briefly hopped out of the pool to get myself a drink of water. One of the female employees very quickly approached me and rudely told raised her voice saying " you must have a mask on if you are outside the pool" before I could even say that I was just getting water she cut me off and said "yep, yep" and promptly turned and walked away. I will certainly not be returning as I will tell others the same.
I was just minding my own business swimming I got out of the pool eating chips and this Karen came up the me and started yelling at me for eating food and when I was going underwater to practice breath control the life guard was like no long breath holding I was under the water for 5 sec
