We come for my kids class every week and every time that front desk women is passive aggressive and rude. God forbid you have to ask a question. She is the FIRST person people talk to when they walk in her attitude should be more welcoming.. everyone else is nice though
I typically don’t review, but the most recent experience here was extremely unpleasant due to the woman working at the front desk. She was rude and downright nasty. It was my apparently incorrect assumption that this was a place where families were welcome. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case. She basically followed my husband and children around barking out orders to follow the rules (none had been broken) which we have no problem with, but her demeanor was downright nasty. We will just go to the YMCA from now on where children being present are not an issue. Especially when they are well behaved. It’s disheartening that a community center would treat members of the community with such disdain. We have patronized the community center countless times in the past with no issues, but it seems that this is no longer a welcoming community environment. If you do choose to go and have your children with you, be prepared for the staff to chaperone your every move so that you don’t put a foot out of line.
The front desk woman and the swim coach are incredibly rude and passive aggressive. Literally interrogated me on why I was an hour early for my daughter’s swim lesson. EXTREMELY unprofessional!! It blows my mind that they work with the public and children. Do better WCC. Paying patrons come from all over to use this facility and deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
It’s great if you don’t mind rude staff and a prison like environment. It starts the moment you walk in the door. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and just rattling off rules, and in such a hostile and unpleasant way. I wasn’t sure if this was a child’s birthday or jail intake. The life life guards were a smidge better but all around unfriendly and unpleasant. The pool was nice and a cute set up for a party if you want to be treated poorly and spoken to like you’re 5. The woman cleaning, she was nice and helpful.
My son took his first swimming lessons here. The instructors are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The staff, including the receptionist is warm and welcoming. The facility itself is clean and well maintained.
