About

Small, clean pool featuring lifeguards and a summer-specific season pass.

The specific water temperature of the pool(s) at the Carlton Swimming Pool is not consistently published online. However, typical community pools aim to maintain a comfortable temperature, often ranging from 78-82°F (25.5-27.7°C) for general recreational and instructional use.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This outdoor pool is highly praised for its affordability, especially for children ($3), and is considered a great source of summer fun. Patrons appreciate the pool's cleanliness, safety, and warm water. The lifeguards are generally noted as attentive but not overly strict. Recent renovations have made the bathhouse new and beautiful, and the pool is also handicap accessible. Many visitors enjoy it enough to purchase season passes. However, there are a couple of points for improvement: swim lessons are only offered mid-morning on weekdays, which is inconvenient for working parents, and an evening session is suggested. More seriously, one patron reported a distressing incident where a lifeguard questioned their presence in the men's changing room based on another person's complaint, causing significant public discomfort and leading them to leave without changing.

Love this pool. Very clean, safe, lifeguards actually pay attention and the water is really warm. The only complaint I have is that their swim lessons are mid morning on weekdays. Not everyone can get to those because of work. If they had an evening session I'm sure it would sell out.

Had a nice time the pool was fine, but when I was in line to change in the men's room a lifeguard tried to say I couldn't be in the men's changing room, because my presence made someone uncomfortable. I'm a man, and I was standing in line waiting to change in the stall, minding my own business. and I was made extremely uncomfortable having to explain in public that I belonged in there. the interrogation made me so uncomfortable that I had to leave before being able to change. if something were to happen like this again I would recommend telling the person who complained to please mind their own business, or use the family changing room, seeing as I have as much or a right to be there as everyone else.

The pool bath house was remodeled last year so it is new and beautiful. The pool is also handicap accessible. It is an outdoor pool that is open during the summer. We always look forward to it and purchase a season pass. It's one of my favorite things about summer.
