About

Public aquatic center featuring 3 pools, including one for kids and one for lap swimming.

The facility generally maintains its Lap Pool at approximately 80-82°F (26.6-27.7°C), the Warm Water Therapy Pool at a warmer 90-92°F (32.2-33.3°C), and the Recreational/Activity Pool around 84-86°F (28.8-30°C).

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility generally offers fantastic swim lessons and a great variety of pools suitable for all ages, including a shallow warm toddler pool, a larger warm kids' pool, and a cool lap pool with a slide and rope, making it an appealing year-round destination. However, several issues impact the visitor experience. Concerns include the cleanliness of the big pool, with reports of hair and bugs. Parking is a significant problem, particularly on weekdays, due to May St Middle School vehicles occupying most spots, often requiring attendees to walk. The pool's website schedule is frequently inaccurate and neglected, leading to unexpected closures for repairs, and visitors are advised to call ahead. A serious safety incident was reported where staff were unable to assist a parent in locating lost children, did not provide camera information, and hung up on calls, raising concerns about child safety protocols. Additional feedback suggests a need for more lounge chairs.

Does the big pool ever get vacuumed? Love swimming here, but I get the ick seeing all the hair and bugs at the bottom of the pool.

Fantastic swim lessons, great pools for all ages. Perfect place to escape the cold and swim. It would be great to add more lounge chairs to the pool deck. And limit the parking lot to only pool attendees. Unfortunately May St Middle School vehicles occupy over 90% of the parking during the week, so expect to walk to the pool during school hours. And at 330pm week days, is the worst for foot and vehicle (bike and cars) traffic. So plan accordingly. And CHECK THE WEBSITE to make sure the pool is open, since they were denied closure to renovate, the pool is under frequent closures for repairs.

Nice. If you are new to the pool call before going. The website schedule is neglected, especially when I count on it to be accurate.

The pool is a great place for the kids, and I generally feel safe with them there alone. But when my two disappeared early one day and nobody working there could help me figure out when they left or which way they went I became irate. It was hours later before they made their way home in the dark. The police had been notified by this point and every time I called the pool I was hung up on. I was just curious if they had cameras with time stamps that could've helped me find them sooner. I'd never wish that fear on anyone and know they're only kids themselves and can't comprehend. I haven't left them there alone since.

Appointments needed at this time, and social distancing is in place. This is a nice facility with 3 separate pools. 1. A very shallow, warm water toddler pool. 2. A larger, 3' deep (approx) warm water kids pool. ...and 3. A large cool water pool for laps, with a slide and a rope jump for fun! Great place all year round.
