What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool garners high praise for its overall quality, with many describing it as 'amazing' and 'great.' Key positive aspects include friendly and helpful staff and lifeguards, a variety of well-maintained areas for different age groups (including a play area for younger children, larger spots for bigger kids, an adult-only section, a rock climbing wall, and floating toys), and abundant seating like lounge chairs and picnic tables. The pool water itself is consistently highlighted as 'outstanding' and clean. Concession prices are generally considered reasonable by some, contributing to a positive experience. However, several significant criticisms are also present. The concession stand is a frequent point of contention, with complaints about slow service, a perceived lack of urgency from young staff, and poor food quality (e.g., undercooked items, cold food, improper preparation, and melting frozen treats). Other facility-related issues mentioned include the absence of hot water for showers and, in one instance, a filthy ladies' bathroom. The pool's layout is sometimes criticized for being 'weird,' particularly lacking suitable 'in-between' depths for elementary-aged children, with floats located in deep water and a 3.5ft area restricted to adults. One extensive review raised numerous additional and problematic concerns, including delays at entry due to other patrons, and discriminatory complaints regarding the behavior of other patrons, specifically accusing 'Hispanics' of being loud, playing unwanted music, smoking in the parking lot, and having inappropriate attire, alongside criticisms of staff's 'diversity' responses.

This public pool is amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. My granddaughter and I always have an amazing time. However, the adult swim events are my favorite.
Excellent pool! Really enjoyed myself today. The line to get in took forever because the Hispanics in front of me didn't bring their money and had to give their address and couldn't remember their zip code Etc . It's very annoying. Something similar happened at the kitchen window, which was also very annoying. The kitchen is run by youngsters, and they have zero sense of urgency. I think they do their best, but I asked for a well-done cheeseburger, and it was dripping grease and had questionable liquid on it. It also wasn't done in the middle. I threw half of it in the trash. Then I ordered a pretzel. It was 3/4 cooked, and then they were going to spray it with something and then put salt on it. The right way to make a pretzel is that you wet it with a little water, then put the salt on, and then you pass it through the oven. You don't spray it afterward. A lot of places are doing that, and it's gross. So I ate some of that, and then I decided to get some nachos. Well, the cheese was ice cold. I ordered water with the nachos, and the water was sitting out on the counter for 10 minutes before the nachos were poured up, and then they were cold, like I said. I had to ask for fresh cold water and then went back to my seat to wait for the cheese to heat up, which it never did. Also, that cheeseburger was terrible as far as quality. The prices aren't bad. What I enjoyed most were the four freeze pops I ate. They were frozen solid and delicious, but, I had to ask them to cut the tabs off and they were set down on a couple of counters while they argued back and forth a little bit and they were melting. Again, zero sense of urgency. I should say that you don't really get that many nacho chips, either, but for me, it was plenty. The nacho cheese container also does not get filled to the top. There are signs everywhere that you're not allowed to bring your own food . They better start doing a better job in that kitchen because I was very unimpressed (although polite to the youngsters). On another note, the pool water is outstanding. However, there is an over-abundance of Hispanics there screaming Spanish, blasting music that I do not want to hear, and then smoking weed in the parking lot.... and not wearing a full measure of clothing, which I found to be an eye-sore problem, and one of them took her 10 - or 11 year old boy and the ladies' locker room, which I did not appreciate. I let staff know, and they tried to address it, so I give them credit for that. The ladies bathroom was filthy , there were bra cup inserts on the floor by the toilet, hangers on the floor, tags from clothes on the floor, no toilet paper. Some of these problems seem to follow that particular population, but I found some of them to be a little bit worse here. I'm always decent and nice to everyone. I try to give honest reviews because honest reviews have helped me a lot in the past. I really don't care that some people might get mad about my review. I told the truth, and I did so nicely. Facts are facts. Our small towns are being destroyed by city populations and when you go into public like this, you get stuck dealing with it. I read some of the reviews on here and was astonished to see some people accusing the staff of being racist. That's the typical BS crybaby nonsense from people who are actually racists. Furthermore, the response of the staff was some pride in that they are diverse. Honestly, I don't care about the diversity nonsense it's all part of the plots and schemes to keep people separated in the first place. Just get people who have a sense of urgency, and I'll be a lot more appreciative
This is such a great pool! Between the lifeguards, staff, bountiful lounge chairs, a really cute play area for younger children, an 18+ location for those old enough where we just want to sit and chill, 2 big spots for bigger kids to play in, music playing, concessions that aren’t astronomical in price, clean and kept. I don’t think anyone can ask for more. This is one heck of a location! Kudos to the owners and staff, we appreciate you!
Visiting from Nyc, and it really is a nice pool for the family. People from the community aren't very friendly so you will be getting stares. No hot water to shower just freezing cold but other than that pleasant time with the family. There is grass and picnic tables and plenty of chairs all around the pool. There's also a rock climbing wall. There are 2 sturdy floats to climb on. One was a small turtle and the other like a sea dragon. They also sell snacks like chips, soft drinks and chocolates. Overall a great time was had. Would definitely love to visit again.
Its a very weird set up. The small slide goes into an area that's about a foot deep. The floaty snake and turtle are in the 5-6ft area so the younger kids really can't use them. There's no in between area for the kids, your either in 1 ft of water or 5-6 feet. They have an area that is 3.5ft deep but it's for 18 and over only...very strange set up. I guess its good for very little kids since theres a good 1ft area and splash.pad but not a good pool for Elementary kids.
