Local ice rink offering private rentals as well as a swimming pool, and a bar.
Specific pool temperature information for the James R. Eister Youth & Community Center is not publicly available online. The center is known to include aquatics facilities, which typically feature one or more pools for community use.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The ice rink receives largely positive feedback for its affordable open skate fee ($5 including rentals), friendly and polite staff, and a comfortable waiting area with a fireplace for parents. Many visitors appreciate the facility as a great place for all ages, including men's league hockey, and note the helpfulness of the refs. However, a significant recurring complaint is inaccurate advertising of operating hours, especially concerning summer availability, which has led to frustration and wasted trips for several customers.
Reviews
Drive all the way after looking at hours to find out the ice rink is not open during the summer yet the hours say they are. Other areas have rinks open during summer if you are not open for skating don't advertise your are. Person there said others making same mistake.
A great hockey rink… the refs for the men’s league are very nice and easy to get along with… great place for a Sunday afternoon of skating for all ages
Today was my first time and I absolutely love it. Met some great kids too
Love this place. I must say the ones who work there are very nice, & very polite!!
Open skate fee is so cheap, only $5 and rental skates included. They also have a big fire place on the entire time, so parents can wait in the warm room while kids are skating.
