About

Relaxed public venue open in summer featuring a water slide and a snack bar.

Specific information regarding the temperature of the pool(s) at the Camp Verde Heritage Pool is not readily available from official public sources. As an outdoor community pool, the water temperature likely fluctuates with environmental conditions during its seasonal operation.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Camp Verde public pool is highly valued by users, especially for its affordability, making it an excellent option for families. It features a water slide and attentive lifeguards, catering to a range of activities from swim lessons for children to lap swimming for adults. Many appreciate it as a cost-effective alternative to more expensive facilities and often turn visits into a fun family outing. However, common criticisms include its relatively small size, insufficient shade for adults (with the shaded area being inconveniently separated from the pool), and the need for updates to the locker rooms. While there are shower rooms, their setup for entrance can be inconvenient. Despite minor issues like occasional confusion with lap lane reservations, the pool is generally seen as a valuable and much-appreciated community resource.

It is quite a small pool, it does have a slide, a family member of mine went there for swim lessons. But I haven't been there for public swim. I wold recommend

I’m glad we have a public pool in CV. I go for lap swim once or twice a week in the summer. There’s sometimes a little confusion regarding lane reservations but everyone is nice and I’ve never not been able to swim. I’ve lived places where we didn’t have locker rooms or lanes at all, so I’m grateful to have the option and not have to pay a hefty gym membership on top of a long drive.

Fantastic! Clean and large. No showers, however. Locker rooms need some updates. Guards are very pleasant. My grandchildren love the S-tube slide and it wasn't crowded. Pictures are accurate and it's lots of fun. Yes, floaties are allowed

You get what you pay for. It's oaky for someone who wants to get wet. It's small and doesn't have much shade for the adults. The area that is shaded is blocked off from the pool so not ideal for parents who have children in the water. The entrances are separate for boys and girls which takes each one through the shower rooms. Not an ideal entrance for those who don't want to send the kids through by themselves. There is room for improvement.

I Love coming to this public pool. I Live in Flagstaff and we have the aquaplex, but being a single mother of 4 kids, it's too expensive. Bringing 6 people here to Camp Verde only cost $13.00 and gas, but there are many more bonuses. My kids see this as a mini road trip. We get to hang out in the car for 50 minutes there then back (lots of mom time), I'm the champion when I can bring thier friends, we make a picnic lunch and have snacks for the road. If by chance a monsoon comes by there is a nice park a block away to play at, eat, and relax until the pool opens again. Even spur of the moment visits have been awesome. There is a water slide and life guards that switch out every 15 minutes. I can play with the kids or read a book if I want to. Great place for little ones to learn how to swim, but deep enough for moody teenagers!!!
