What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews present a mixed picture of the resort. Positive aspects include spacious and well-furnished cabins (e.g., cabin #5), pleasant staff, and a great location offering outstanding views. The 9-hole golf course is frequently praised for its excellent condition, scenic mountain setting, and peaceful atmosphere, with camper bathrooms also noted as nice. However, there are significant concerns regarding general cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, with facilities described as 'disgusting' and 'unsafe' due to broken, rusted, or splintering items. Staff are sometimes criticized for being unhelpful or dismissive of these concerns, with allegations of illegal and unsafe food sales at the pool. Specific complaints highlight issues such as dirty and poorly draining cabin bathrooms with insufficient supplies, a poorly located tent area, and a pool described as awful smelling, freezing, and causing skin irritation, potentially due to a broken heater. Golfers also reported being overcharged and dealing with sprinklers being turned on during play, managed unprofessionally by staff. While one review did note the resort as clean and the pool as fun, this directly contradicts multiple other negative accounts.

I haven't hit the golf course yet, but the cabin, at least number five is very nicely furnished, and b more than ample space for ten to twelve people. It's great. A pleasant and friendly staff, a great location and outstanding views. I don't know if I want to check-out.
9 hole course was amazing. Tees and greens were PAR. Even with the drought fairway we’re good not to many dry spots. Just a great view on the whole course is just right and peaceful being on the mountain and golfing
Disgusting. Unsafe. Staff don't care about cleanliness, safety or your concerns. Anything metal is either broken and sharp or rusted almost completely through. Everything wood is warped and splintering. Any concerns you tell staff are brushed off and they just say they are aware. They can't provide proof of food handlers permits at the pool or even a permit to be selling food at all. Meaning they are probably selling food illegally and in dangerous and disgusting conditions. Pool is awful smelling and freezing. The water makes your skin feel itchy and rough. Staff will tell you it sits at 70 degrees or less because the heater is broken. Hundreds of other things need to be repaired or completely replaced other than what is pictured.
We stayed in cabin 2. It's nice and feels clean. Except for the bathroom. The bath looks dirty. I'm taking a shower, and it wouldn't drain. The water went cold pretty quickly. We didn't have enough toilet paper and no garbage bags. The tent area is in a terrible spot. Right next to the road and far from bathrooms. The bathrooms for campers are nice. The resort is clean, and the pool is fun.
My son and I went there and played golf. They charged me more than their website says they charge, and then they turn the sprinklers on the course in the middle of the day while we were playing. There was a kid on the course that said he would turn them off as we played but we had to track him down to do it the first time. He was nowhere to be found again till the 8th hole. He turned them off while we putted on 8 then turned them back on and sprayed us while we were on the tee on 9.
