About

Public pool offering a splash pad for children.

Specific pool temperatures for Bessemer Park Pool are not consistently published or readily available to the public. As a large outdoor community aquatic facility, its water temperatures are generally maintained at a comfortable level for recreational swimming during the operational summer season.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, the facility is highly regarded for its family-friendly environment, good value, and amenities such as a well-regarded snack bar, a splash pad (though occasionally unavailable), a diving board, and a slide. Many appreciate the lack of overcrowding and the presence of a shallow area in the main pool. While some reviewers praise the staff and lifeguards for being friendly and attentive to rules, others report an unfriendly or unresponsive demeanor. Common minor drawbacks mentioned are an early closing time (7 PM) and the occasional presence of homeless individuals, who generally keep to themselves.

We love it here. The staff is always friendly. The snack bar is really good and reasonably priced. We love that it's not overcrowded. Especially love that there's a 1 to 2 foot area in the big pool. Also the splash pad is a bonus!!

My favorite pool in Pueblo! The staff are very friendly and the lifeguards keep an eye out for kids breaking the rules or bullying. The snack bar is delicious and has great prices. The splash pad area is so much fun for all ages. It's down at the moment, but I'm hopeful it will be up and running again soon!

The pool is nice. But the lifeguards and staff are not very friendly. I said something to two of them, just being friendly and they just look at you wondering why you are talking to them. They do keep the bullies in line, sort of.

the only thing bad is they closed at tpm but otherwise cheap place if you're looking for a place to take your kids they have a diving board and a slide that looks fun for kids and they have a concession stand too

During the day time the park is very family oriented. Lots of events during the year. My kids love the free spray park. Homeless do roam but they keep to themselves.
