About

Indoor, outdoor and heated pools in a clean facility featuring a wave pool, hot tub and water slides.

The aquatic center maintains different temperatures for its various pools to accommodate diverse activities. The competition pool is typically kept between 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C). The recreation pool, which includes the lazy river and water slide, is warmer, usually ranging from 84-86°F (28.9-30°C). The therapy spa is heated to a comfortable 100-102°F (37.8-38.9°C).

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility are mixed, highlighting both positive aspects and significant areas for improvement. Many praise it as a family-friendly, clean place with various swim options and a good food/snack area. Water aerobics is a popular activity, and some staff are described as friendly and welcoming. However, several critical points were raised: the website is frequently criticized for lacking essential information regarding flotation device rules, slide height requirements, and appropriate attire for slides. Staff helpfulness is inconsistent, and there are serious allegations of a lifeguard unfairly targeting and discriminating against a family regarding life vest rules. Safety concerns include a 'sandpaper-like' surface in the children's play area causing injury, and issues with provided life vests not functioning properly. There is a clear need for more transparent rules and consistent enforcement across all visitors.

Staff isn’t super helpful or interactive but they are friendly. You can’t really get any information from anyone, but they can help you if you’re there in person and the thing you need help with is right in front of them. lol But family friendly! Good place! clean and has snacks and food area. Minimal Shade areas, but swim options everywhere!

It would be nice if the website listed rules regarding flotation devices, so our kids aren't kicked out for their swimsuit floats. Puddle jumpers okay though, okayyyyyy. Seen those fail personally, when the kids arms pop out of em. But okay. Slightly better we were able to borrow a lifevest from them. However our 2yr olds life vest just flipped him on his back and wouldn't allow him to play at all. He was miserable. The website also didn't specify height requirements for the slide and you have to be near naked to slide on those. Website could explain that too. So half our kids who could not use the slides. Be a while before we come back, if ever.

The surface in the children's play area is like sand paper. My grand daughter skinned all the flesh off the bottom of her toes after only being there for 30 minutes. Wondering if water shoes are permitted?

They don't have any of the rules about children's life vests on line so when we got there we constantly ridiculed by a particular lifeguard, "I told you twice you can't have your kid in that vests" but othe kids in none Coast Guard approved life vests where okay. She was picking on us due to our origin. Blond hair, blue eyed individuals can wear any life vest and go down any slide and be in any body of water in this park.
