I'm giving five stars for the resort/park. The unprofessionalism of the employee at check-in would get no stars. If you're planning to stay in the family pool house, make sure to verify that the pool is up and running. I chose this house (instead of cabins) specifically for the pool. We live 4 hours away from this Yogi Bear Resort, my family and I were halfway there when they called and said that the storm the night before ripped the liner in the pool and it would be unavailable during our stay at the house. They offered to compensate with wristbands for everyone in our party for our entire visit. When we checked in and got to the house it was very obvious the pool had not even been opened for the season, the cover was sunken in with mossy water on it, a couple of the straps were broke on the cover which left a gap in it and you could see so many tadpoles swimming in the little bit of water that was in it (see attached pictures) Very obvious this did not happen the night before we arrived. I spoke with another employee who informed me there had been four others complaining about the non-use of the pool at the house. After a lot of calling her out (girl at check-in) she finally contacted upper management or possibly an owner and they decided to compensate me the cost of one night and the wristbands. I made my reservation the end of November 2024 my vacation was June 19-22 2025 they had plenty of time to get the pool up and running. So if you notice by the pictures online, you'll see the entire house but they don't show the pool, that's why. Besides that issue the place is absolutely great my family and myself had so much fun and the remaining staff was absolutely great. I highly recommend this place just maybe not the pool house.

We love going to Jellystone with the kids and grandkids! The swimming in the pool and lake are all fun and the place is always clean and fun. I wish someone would monitor the speed of cars flying down the roads though. I was shocked by the trucks and cars that was going 30 or more. We have kids here playing. Nothing is that important that you need to fly! Other than that it's an amazing place and we visit at least 3 times a year!

We camped at this facility with three of our granddaughters and really appreciated the on-site amenities. It would have been nice to have had the bouncing pillow area inflated and operational, but we assume that'll be fixed soon. The only improvement we would suggest is to apply calcium chloride (or some other polymer) to the gravel drives in order to keep dust to a minimum. With all of the golf carts and traffic, it can get a bit dusty at times. Overall our stay was a very nice experience. We'll definitely plan on coming back in the future.

We loved our first Jellystone Park stay in a Lakefront Cottage with our 6 & 2 year old. The cottage was nicely furnished and the A/C worked great. The beds were average, but comfortable. There was room for a pack N play in 1 of the 2 bedrooms. Our kids loved the waterslides, pool and wibit. There were plenty of activities to keep kids busy and everything was as described online. We were disappointed the only option for firewood was a wheel barrel bundle for $48 after tax. A smaller, more affordable option would have been appreciated. If you're bringing your own golf cart, proof of insurance is required. The staff were very friendly and great with our kids. We plan to return again next summer!

This is our second, and probably last trip here. The campground, as a whole, is nice. Kids love the beach and splash pad. However, it rained here the first night. There was a loud beeping sound. We realized it was some sort of alarm for the sewer. As it rained the sewers hook-ups began overflowing and sewage was running through our site. Out large camping may that our grandchildren play on was soaked with sewage. I cannot believe the health department allows this. The bathrooms were dirty last year and dirtier this year. Showers had standing water, toilets. Clearly there is a serious sewer problem here. When we entered the pool area we were told we needed to go back to check in to get wrist bands. Why would they not be given out when we check in?? Out second night they had a Rage party that started at 9:00. As our little ones tried to sleep out camper shook with a loud base. It was very disruptive and overall unpleasant. Our son and his wife stayed in one of the cabins, which are very high priced for as primitive as they are. The cabins are absolutely filthy. Cleaniliness does not seem to be a priority here. Very disappointing because this could be a really great campground. It’s too much money for dirty cabins and sewage running through your site.
